    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge for a portable terminal which has both a function for opening/closing and a function for rotating in the direction perpendicular to the opening/closing direction in a foldable portable terminal. SOLUTION: The hinge for the portable terminal is composed of a rotating hinge part 3, which revolvably connects a first casing 1 to a second casing 2, and an opening/closing hinge part 4 openably/closably connects the second casing to the first casing. The rotating hinge part 3 has a fixing member 5 mounted to the first casing 1 and a rotating member 7 mounted to the fixing member 5 in a state that the rotation is controlled via a first cam mechanism 9. The opening/closing hinge part 4 has an opening/closing member 16 which is provided to the rotating member 7 and connects the end part of the second casing 2 of being rotatably mounted in a state that the rotation is controlled in the direction perpendicular to the rotation direction of the rotating hinge part 3 via a second cam mechanism 25.
