    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive dispenser preventing an adhesive agent from clogging and dripping. SOLUTION: In this paper reel-up, a running paper web is supported by a reel drum, and a replacement type reel shaft is brought into contact with the reel drum to wind up the paper web so as to form a winding paper roll. In this device, the heated adhesive agent is applied to the web and/or the reel shaft around which the web is wrapped. A spray rack is installed on the stand of the reel-up on the upstream side of the reel drum and extends across the longitudinal direction. Besides, the spray rack can be installed on the various other places of the reel-up. A hopper with a heater heats the adhesive agent to temporarily lower the viscosity and adhesiveness thereof so that the adhesive agent can be smoothly and uniformly sprayed. A series of nozzles are installed on the rack at equal intervals through the width of the web to spray a liquid containing the heated adhesive agent to the web and/or the reel shaft.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a travelling web and certainly rewind it on an empty winding core without generating split, wrinkle, or the like.
      SOLUTION: A sector cutting drum 27 having a cutter 47 and a sector receiving drum 28 are rotatably mounted to a drum holding arm 20 so that their peripheral surfaces contact with each other. The drum holding arm 20 is rotated about a mounting shaft 34, and is displaced between an evacuation position and a rewinding position. When the web 6 is cut and rewound on the empty winding core 7b, the drum holding arm 20 is set at the rewinding position. An adhesive tape piece 17 is stuck to the winding core 7b. The winding core 7b is rotated at its circumferential speed set the same as the web feed speed. The rotations are synchronized so that the position of the adhesive tape piece 17 is the same as the web cutting position, and the cutting drum 27 and the receiving drum 28 are rotated once. The tip of the cut upstream side web is wound on the winding core 7a by the receiving drum 28, and rewinding is certainly performed.
