    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement compulsory discharge of air from a blower efficiently, in a condition where an assembling space can be saved and excels in the cost- efficiency, in an air conditioning system for an automobile. SOLUTION: This system is composed of an air conditioning box 17 having an evaporator 21 placed in a refrigerant circuit, allowing blower air to pass through, and a heat exchanger 24 placed with a predetermined space from the evaporator 21. The box 17 is placed on a downstream side of the heat exchanger 24 and has an air distributor 25 with air blow-out openings 26, 27 and 28, each of which are controlled by an air control element 29, and a drain 34 positioned between the evaporator 21 and the heat exchanger 24. The system also includes control means for discharging compulsorily blower air coming out through the evaporator 21 via the drain 34, the control means comprising the element 29 compulsorily closed to discharge the blower air.     • PURPOSE:To prevent introduction of the contaminated open air into a car room, by a method wherein the degree of pollution of the open air is detected by an open air sensor, a detecting value is compared with a reference value, and according to the comprison result, a forced ventilating device is automatically switcheable to an open air and suction mode or an inner air ventilating mode. CONSTITUTION:A forced ventilating device 3, having function of shifting open air suction and inner air circulating, has a suction port 31 for air A (inner air) in a car room 2 and a suction port 32 for the open air B, and the inner A and the open air B are shifted by a switching damper 33. The switching damper 33 is rotatable around a shaft 36, is energized to the inner air A selection side through the force of a spring 37, and is rotated to the open air B selection side through energization of an electromagnetic solenoid 38. In this constitution, an open air sensor 5 for detecting the degree of pollution of the open air B is provided, an output therefrom is compared with a reference value by means of a controller A, and the electromagnetic solenoid 38 is energized and controller so as to select the open air B only when the degree of pollution is low.

    • PURPOSE:To provide effective sensing function for a smoke sensor through actual operation and improve the sensing precision by setting voltage of a constant voltage circuit a little lower than that of a battery, enhancing the decomposition ability of the smoke sensor and cutting off a misoutput of a detecting circuit that is generated when voltage is extremely reduced at the operating time of a starter or some other time. CONSTITUTION:A smoke sensing circuit 1 generates an output signal of a high level when sensing smoke. A constant voltage circuit 5 is applied for driving the smoke sensing circuit. When a voltage of an automotive battery is reduced extremely, a comparator 2 generates an output to have a transistor 4 ground the output of the detecting circuit 1, on account of which the output is therefore cut off. Apparatuses such as an air purifier and so on which are connected to an output terminal Vout will not perform any malfunction. On the other hand, when the battery has a normal rated voltage, the sensor senses smoke with high decomposition ability. The constant voltage circuit 5 is, at this time, set to a little lower voltage with respect to the battery voltage. Except where the battery voltage is set to an extremely low value at the starting time of a starter or some other time, the constant voltage circuit 5 will keep a constant voltage so that the detecting circuit may be operated correctly.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce electric power consumption by intermittently driving an oxygen sensor and intermittently measuring the oxygen concentration in a car room in a device measuring the oxygen concentration in the car room with an oxygen sensor and ventilating in the car room based on this measured result. CONSTITUTION:A sensor control circuit 11 drives an oxygen sensor 10 installed in a car room 1 in response to a sensor drive signal SON from a microcomputer 12 and also feeds a signal from the oxygen sensor 10 to the microcomputer 12 through ADC13 as an oxygen concentration signal SNS. Then, the microcomputer 12 feeds a damper drive signal DNS in response to the oxygen concentration level in the car room 1 to a damper drive unit 14, which selectively opens or closes a damper 7 between an outside air inlet 2 and an inside air inlet 3 through a rod 15. In this case, the microcomputer 12 intermittently feeds the sensor drive signal SON to the sensor control circuit 11, thus the oxygen sensor 10 intermittently measures the oxygen concentration in the car room 1.
