    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a melt extruder with small variation in a temperature of a barrel and small variation in a screw tip end pressure, and a method for producing a thermoplastic resin film using the melt extruder.
      SOLUTION: The melt extruder 10 includes the barrel 12, a screw 14 assembled inside the barrel 12, a hopper 18 for supplying thermoplastic resin 16 into the barrel 12, and a discharge port 62 for molten resin. The melt extruder is divided into temperature control zones Z1-Z5. Each of the temperature control zones Z1-Z5 is provided with heaters 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, cooling units 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, temperature detectors 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, and temperature controllers 50, 52, 54, 56, 58. In the temperature control zones Z1, Z2 corresponding to a supply part a of the melt extruder 10, constant cooling by the cooling units 30, 32, and heating by the heaters 20, 22 are performed. The cooling units 30, 32, and the heaters 20, 22 are controlled by the temperature controllers 50, 52 to set the temperature at a target temperature.
