摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce capacitance of a capacitor for smoothing by smoothing voltages of a plus and a minus DC voltage buses which are used in common by a plurality of inverters for driving a plurality of motors. SOLUTION: Phase difference of carriers in PWM control is set as 90 degrees when two motors are together in the driving state or in the damping state (S104), and phase difference of carriers in PWM control is set as 180 degrees when one is in the driving state and the other is in the damping state (S106). By setting the phase difference of the carriers as 90 degrees when both of the motors are in the driving state or in the damping state, pulses of an inverter flowing-out current which pulses correspond to the respective motors are made to appear alternately, and voltages of the plus and the minus DC voltage buses are smoothed. By setting the phase difference of the carriers as 180 degrees when one is in the driving state and the other is in the damping state, pulses of an inverter flowing-out current which pulses correspond to the respective motors are canceled, and voltages of the plus and the minus DC voltage buses are smoothed. As a result capacitance of the capacitor for smoothing can be reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power output device which can drive an electric motor efficiently. SOLUTION: The power output device comprises a capacitor 30 which is connected with a positive electrode bus bar 26 and a negative electrode bus bar 28 of an inverter circuits 24, and a DC power sources 32 which is connected with a neutral point of a motor 22 and the negative electrode bus bar 28 of the inverter circuits 24. An electronic control unit 40 controls the inverter circuits 24 so that the voltage Vc between terminals of the capacitor 30 is equal to the set voltage Vc* by using the value which adds the voltage Vb of the DC power sources 32 detected by a voltage sensor 64 and the amplitude A of an order voltage V* applied to a three-phase coil of the motors 22 as the set voltage Vc*. This is based on that the three-phase voltage as the instructed voltage V* applied to the three-phase coil is controlled taking the potential Vb of the DC power source 32 as the center.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the frequencies of the appearance of zero-voltage vector and to reduce current ripples that may occur at the neutral point of an electric motor. SOLUTION: A motor is driven by a PWM control based on three-step voltage levels of 1/2VB, zero, -1/2VB by using two hierarchical triangular-wave carriers CAR1, CAR2 for each phase command. Compared with the PWM control with the two-step voltage levels of 1/2VB and -1/2VB, the frequencies of the appearance of the zero-voltage vector in which the voltage of each phase becomes the same can remarkably be lessened. Therefore, in a device in which the neutral point of the motor is fixed to a given potential, the ripples of a neutral point current can be reduced that is caused to occur as the zero-voltage vector is outputted. As a result, the loss in the motor can be lowered.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably retain the voltage between the terminals of a capacitor 30 even with respect to rapid variations in the load. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 40 calculates a neutral point current command, flowing through the neutral point of a motor 22, by dividing power corresponding to output that is requested for the motor 22 by the voltage Vb impressed between the terminals of a DC power supply 32 connected to the neutral point of the motor 22 and a negative pole bus 28 of the inverter circuit 24, and calculates the amount of offset of three-phase AC for driving the motor 22, based on the neutral point current command, namely the amount of offset of the average potential (neutral point potential) of the three-phase AC to the middle potential of the potential in a capacitor 30, with the negative pole bus 28 being set as reference potential. Then, the amount obtained by adding the amount of offset to the three-phase AC is generated by switching of transistors T1-T6 in the inverter circuit 24 and this is applied to the motor 22.

SOLUTION: Three-phase alternating current comprises alternating-current components for driving the motor 22, and direct-current components for exchanging electric power between a capacitor 30 connected with the positive bus 26 and the negative bus 28 of an inverter circuit 24 and a direct-current power supply 32 connected with the neutral point of the motor 22 and the negative bus 28. The AC is generated by switching of the transistors T1 to T6 of the inverter circuit 24 and is applied to the motor 22. That is, the neutral potential of the motor 22 is offset to the positive side or the negative side relative to the positive potential of the direct-current power supply 32 so that the voltage of the capacitor 30 is kept at a commanded inverter input voltage. As a result, driving and controlling of the motor 22 and controlling of the inverter input voltage are simultaneously implemented, and the inverter input voltage is kept at a target value with stability.

SOLUTION: If the negative voltage V- and the positive voltage V+ of a rectangular wave applied to a three-phase coil for the motor driven by a rectangular wave voltage are not equal to each other, rectangular wave durations T1, T2 are regulated so that an area A or the absolute one of the time integral value of the negative voltage V- and an area B or the absolute one of the time integral value of the positive voltage V+ may be equal to each other. Thus, the average voltage of the rectangular wave becomes zero, so that current serving as a DC component is restrained from flowing through the three-phase coil for the motor, and torque ripples based on the DC component is also restrained. Furthermore, regulation of the rectangular wave durations T1, T2 permits the average voltage of the rectangular wave to be regulated. It is thus possible to feed current of the desired DC component through the three-phase coil for the motor.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size and cost of a power-output unit as well as to enhance its durability and stability. SOLUTION: There are mounted in the unit a DC power source 30 that connects a load busbar 28 of an inverter circuit 24 and a neutral point of a motor 22, and a capacitor 32 that connects a positive electrode busbar 26 of the inverter circuit 24 and the neutral point of the motor 22. Transistors T1 to T6 of the inverter circuit 24 are switch-controlled based on a phase-voltage command value to which a DC component and an AC component are added. An inter-terminal voltage of the capacitor 32 is controlled by the DC component and the motor 22 is drive-controlled by the AC component as well. Thus, a supply voltage of the DC power source 30 can be lowered than a voltage required for driving the motor 22. Also, resistance to pressure of the capacitor 32 is much reduced comparing with that of a unit mounting a capacitor connected to the positive-electrode busbar 26 and a negative busbar 28 of the inverter circuit 24, as well as a relay circuit can be simplified. As a result of this, the reduction in size and cost of the unit can be materialized as well as its durability and stability are enhanced.
