CONSTITUTION:In the case of data write, all device components are connected to a power line A. This is accomplished by a control circuit 16 to control a power changeover switch SW17 through the use of a switching SW control line 18 to connect the power line A21 to an EEPROM 19. In the case of data readout, in this case, the control circuit 16 connects the power supply of the EEPROM 19 to a power line B22 with the changeover switch SW17. In this case since the power changed by the induced magnetic field energy from a master station is circuit components except the EEPROM 19, it is possible to extend the communication distance between the master station and a slave station up to several tens of centimeters.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient system at a low cost for juging the successful bidder of an auction. SOLUTION: A master station 20 and a host computer 10 are provided in a market, a display device 40 connected to the host 10 displays an auction number 41, an auction value 42 and an auction result 43, etc., and auction participants hold slave stations 30 (30-1 to 30-N) for performing radio communication with the master station 20. The participants are registered in the host 10 beforehand by their own respective ID numbers and the auction number 41 is displayed at the display device 40 beforehand. As soon as the auction is started, the auction value 42 is displayed at the display device 40, the master station 20 transmits a timer reset command and the timers of the respective slave stations are started after reset. When the participant to make a successful bid presses a prescribed push button on the slave station, the timer is stopped and measurement time is determined. The master station 20 polls the respective slave stations 30, gathers the auction number, the ID number and the measurement time and delivers them to the host 10. The host searches the minimum measurement time, judges the successful bidder from the ID number and displays it as the auction result 43.

    • PURPOSE:To recognize an ID code of a slave station whose master station is resident within a communication area by allowing the master station to detect crosstalk and allowing a slave station to revise a time up to reply according to a content of part of the ID code. CONSTITUTION:In oder to allow a master station to recognize IDs of plural slave stations in existence in its own communication area efficiently, different ID codes are given to the slave stations and when crosstalk takes place, the crosstalk is to be detected. Moreover, a slave station replies with the master station while varying a time from the reception of a transmission invitation from the master station to its reply according to the content of the part of the ID code via a memory 6 according to a program of a CPU 5. Then the master station gives a time difference to part (e.g. lower 1st digit) of the ID code to receive the reply of the ID code and when crosstalk takes place, a time difference is given to the other part of the ID code (e.g. lower 2nd digit) for the reply and repetitive communication is implemented in order. Thus, the master station can recognize efficiently the ID codes of the slave stations in its own communication area.

When the slave station receives command transmission from the master station, it majority-decides the memories 1, 2 and 3. When the content of the memory is indefinite due to the raise time of power, there is hardly any probability that the contents of the memory 1 (12A), the memory 2 (12B) and the memory 3 (12C) coincide. Here, initial reset is performed and it is attained by using a full memory clear command.

CONSTITUTION:Data such as a discrimination code are written by a master station 1 at a point P1 in a subordinate station 2 mounted on a moving body 3. On the occasion, the data received by a non-contact communication device 10 are tripled and written in memories 12A to 12C. When the moving body 3 moves to the position of a point P2 and receives a transmission command from a master station 1A, CPU 11 of the subordinate station 2 reads the data of the memories 12A to 12C and executes determination on a decision-by- majority basis. When three data coincide with one another, these data are transmitted, and when they are different from one another, the master station is informed that there is abnormality in the data. When two out of the three data coincide with each other, the data coincident with each other are transmitted, while the data not being coincident with others are modified by the transmitted data to be restored.
