摘要： PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. excellent in wet heat resistance, flame retardance, and flowability by compounding a polybutylene naphthalenedicarboxylate with a brominated epoxy flame retardant and, if necessary, a specific auxiliary flame retardant and an inorg. filler. CONSTITUTION:30-99.5wt.% polybutylene naphthalenedicarboxylate, 0.5-25wt.% brominated epoxy flame retardant of the formula (wherein (n) is 0-50), 0-15wt.% at least one auxiliary flame retardant selected from the group consisting of Sb2O3 and xNa2O.Sb2O5.yH2O (wherein (x) is 0-1; and (y) is 0-4), and 0-50wt.% inorg. filler (pref. glass or carbon fibers) are compounded to give the title compsn., which is excellent in wet heat resistance, flame retardance, and flowability.

摘要： PURPOSE:To readily establish small volume-multigrade production system for polyester, by ramified feeding ether monomer or the corresponding polymer to thin film-type polymerizer(z) (lined in parallel) prior to the final stage and providing the inlet(s) of said reactor(s) with static mixer(s) then charging appropriate ingredients to perform polymerization. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing polyester through multistage continuous polymerization process, the thin film-type polymerizer(s) (connected in parallel) with agitating blades prior to the final stage is (are) fed with either monomer or the corresponding polymer in a ramified manner. The inlet(s) of at least one polymerizer mentioned above is (are) provided, with static mixer(s), at the upper flow position of wich are charged relevant ingredients (e.g. matting agent, modifier, pigment) followed by polymerization so as to obtain at least two kinds of polymers different in properties one another, thus accomplishing the continuous polymerization for the polyester.

摘要： PURPOSE: To carry out the crystallization of polyester granules in an extremely short time, and to prevent the troubles caused by mositure during the drying and solid-phase polymerization process, by treating the polyester granules with steam heated above a specific temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Granules of a polyester having alkylene terephthalate as the recurring unit (preferably having ethylene terephthalate as recurring unit) are treated with steam (preferably super-heated steam) heated at ≥110°C to effect the crystallization of polyester.
EFFECT: Agglomeration of pellets during the crystallization process can be prevented, and the energy cost can be reduced.
