摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce overlapping of recording dot for each color by making sampling positions of R, G, B signals different while inputting a color picture, and recording to correspond to sampling positions at recording. CONSTITUTION:The pitch a1-a3 of arrangement in the direction of main scanning of R, G, B signal detecting sections 11-13 are set to different values from each other. Accordingly, R, G, B signals in the inputted picture can be inputted to make superposition of sampling positions small. R, G, B signals are then converted to C, M, Y, Bk signals. When recording, C, M, Y signals make C, M, Y color recording dots 14-16 in the same arrangement pitch a1-a3 with R, G, B signal detecting sections 11-13 in the direction of main scanning. Arrangement pitch b1-b3 in the direction of sub-scanning is set to different values for each color. By setting the values of arrangement pitch b1-bn to conform the values of pitch (anXbn) of each color, dot density of each color can be made to the same value.

摘要： PURPOSE:To realize the functions of a copying machine, printer, and trimming copying machine with an inexpensive and small-sized device by providing a mechanism to control selectively corona ion current before starting the process for the electrophotographic recording to irradiate a light image onto a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:Corona charge is applied uniformly on a photosensitive drum 1 when all of ion current control electrodes 23, 24 are turned on to permit passage of ion current. An electrostatic latent image is formed on the drum 1 when the light reflected from an original 4 is irradiated thereon. The image is copied by the process of developing, transferring and fixing. A pulse voltage is impressed on the electrodes 23, 24 from a writing control circuit 27 to control the ion current by said electrodes according to the writing signal, thus forming the electrostatic latent image on the drum 1. The recording corresponding to the writing is executed by the process of developing, transferring and fixing without irradiation of light in the succeeding copying mechanism I. The electrostatic charge image in the region desired to be trimmed of the original 4 is formed on the drum 1 by subjecting the region on the drum 1 corresponding to the region desired to be trimmed of the original 4 to corona discharge by the electrodes 23, 24 and irradiating the light reflected from the original 4 on the drum.

Turning-on/off of bases of TRs 141, 142,... is controlled by turn-on/off signal input parts 121, 122,..., and various voltage waveforms, for example, voltages having time widths t0-t1, t0-t2, and t0-t3 are outputted as the output voltage by the timing of the turn-on/off signal and the pulse width of the turn-on signal. When an especially low recording density is expressed, the voltage having the time width t0-t1 is impressed to an aperture electrode to select the turning-on state where the diameter of the ion beam is reduced, and thus, gradation reproducibility is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To cause no transfer shift in the end part even in case of a single slip, by providing a sheet guide so that its width protrudes from both ends of a transfer charger, and also holding both lug parts of a sheet by a follower roll. CONSTITUTION:One end of a sheet guide 14 is supported by a shaft 15 so as to be freely turnable, is energized clockwise by a spring 16, both edge parts of the other end are made wider than width of a transfer charger 8, and a follower roll 17 is provided so as to peep out of the upper face. When a printing paper 6 is fed, an electromagnet 19 is energized and the guide 14 is turned counterclockwise so that the paper 6 is inserted easily. When the paper 6 has reached the charger 8, the electromagnet 19 is de-energized, and the guide 14 is reset. In case when the end part of the paper 6 has come to the transfer position, both lug parts are pinched by the guide 14 and are held by the roll 17, therefore, tightly adhere to a drum 1 and pass through. Therefore, the paper tightly adheres to the drum 1, and no printing blur is generated even in the end part.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which makes printing free from blank centers and the use of plain paper possible by solidifying an insulation characteristic resin mixed and dissolved with fine conductive particle and a magnetic material and solidifying and grinding the same while keeping said resin applied with an electric field and a magnetic field in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field and an electric field of the same direction are applied to a toner material 6 in a heated and molten state by an electromagnet 1 and a voltage applyig circuit 5. The fine conductive particles 8 and magntic material 9 in the toner material 6 align straightforward. After the toner is slowly cooled and solidified, it is ground, whereby anisotropic toner particles 10 are obtained. In the stage of developing by using the toner 11 consisting of such toner particles 10, the toner 11 is conveyed onto electrostatic latent images 15 by the magnetic force of a magnetic roll 12. Since the direction of the conductivity of the toner 11 and the direction of magnetic dipoles are the same, electric current flows in the toner chains formed by the magnetic field, and electrostatic charge is induced in the toner 11 by the electric field by the images 15. By the effect of this electrostatic charge, the toner 11 is stuck on the images 15, whereby the images are developed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To record a perfect pattern which is free from a drop-off of dots with use of a small number of component parts, by forming an optical print head with a converging fiber array and a light emitting element array and setting the optical axis of the fiber array almost perpendicular to the surface of a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element (LED) array 7 is formed to each of plural ceramic headers 6, and these arrays 7 are distributed in two rows sandwiching a prism mirror 8. One side of each low is refered to as the X row, and the other is the Y row respectively. The light emitted from a light emitting part of the array 7 containing the X and Y rows is reflected by the mirror 8 to be made incident to a converging fiber array 9. At the same time, an optical image 7b of the array 7 formed on a photosensitive drum 4 is arranged on a straight line with each row with a pitch of a double value as much as the length of the light emitting part of each array 7 in the direction of arrangement. Then the array 7 is turned on and off by a control circuit to ensure an image formation on the drum 4, and the light of the array 7 of each row is made incident onto the drum 4 with almost a perpendicular angle. Thus a perfect pattern can be recorded without any drop-off of dots.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detect a remaining amount of toner stably in an electrophotographic printer which uses single slips by forming a latent image at a break between forms by an array of LED, and by detecting it as a remaining-amount detection mark by a sensor by developing the image. CONSTITUTION:After the constant time T1 passes when form detecting mechanism 6 detects form 4a, LED array 2 is turned on for time T2 to form a latent image. Namely, the latent image is formed at the break between form 4a and the last form and when photosensitive drum 1 further rotates up to the position of sensor 8, sensor 8 detects it as a mark for detecting the remaining amount of toner to generate an output. The detection mark (latent image), if developing device 3 has not enough toner in it, is not formed with sufficient density. As a result, the output of sensor 8 is not sufficient and a slice level falls, thereby outputting a signal showing the lack of the remaining amount of toner. Thus, the remaining amount of toner is detected stably.
