    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shock caused when an air feeding piece arrives at a destination so as to prevent the damage of a cartridge in a air feeding facilities which stores the cartridge containing sample liquid in the air feeding piece and feeds it by the air. SOLUTION: These air feeding facilities have transmitter and receiver 11a, 11b arranged apart from each other, an air feeding pipe 13 which communicates the transmitter and receiver 11a, 11b, and exhausters 13a, 13b connected with a suction port 15a formed in the vicinity of an end part of the air feeding pipe 13. In this case, solenoid valves 17a, 17b are arranged between the suction port 15a and the exhausters 13a, 13b, air feeding piece passing detectors 19a, 19b are provided in the air feeding pipe 13, and the solenoid valves 17a, 17b and the air feeding piece passing detectors 19a, 19b are connected mutually in such a manner that they can be controlled.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the capacity of the thruster of a cleaning machine and to reduce the capacity and required driving power of a driving electric motor. SOLUTION: The thruster 9 for pressing a wall surface of a water channel cleaning machine having an electrically driven brush 2 for cleaning, electrically driven wheels 3 and the thruster 9 for pressing the wall surface consists of an electric motor 5 for driving rotary vanes 4 and plural swiveling removal plates 8 in a cylindrical casing 7. These swiveling removal plates 8 are fixed onto the circumference between the outer peripheral surface of the motor 5 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical casing 7 and have an inlet angle α with respect to the axial direction of rotation in the inlet of the swiveling removal plates 8. The outlet angle of the rotary vanes 4 is set zero with respect to the axial direction of rotation in the outlet of the swiveling removal plates 8. The shape of the swiveling removal plates 8 between the inlet and outlet of the swiveling removal plates 8 is formed of smoothly continuing curves. The water flow ejected out of the cylindrical casing 7 is composed of only the axial direction component by removing the swiveling direction component of the flow generated by the rotary vanes 4 at the time of passing the swiveling removal plates 8.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of a water-wheel by providing, on the upper wall surface inside a housing, a return plate by which the water discharged from Pelton buckets hits the upper wall surface for preventing it from flowing to the central side of the housing, so that it can be prevented that a part of water hitting the inside surface of the housing flows to the central side. SOLUTION: In a vertical shaft Pelton wheel to be installed in a hydraulic power plant or the like, the pressure energy of the water introduced in a casing 1 is converted into velocity energy in a needle valve 2, and the water hits the buckets 3 of the Pelton wheel and provides a rotating torque to the runner. Out of the water left from the Pelton buckets 3, the water discharged upwards flows out along the housing 4; in this case, by providing a return plate 6 to the upper inside surface of the housing 4, part of water flowing on the inner side or the central side is sent back toward the outside by the return plate 6. Thus, the water can be prevented from falling on a runner disc 5, so that the resistance due to this falling water can be eliminated for preventing the reduction in the efficiency of the water-wheel.
