摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that, while suppressing soiling of an image white ground, after-image (ghost), blurring (blotted image follow-up properties) and the like, can improve image quality, can realize good cleaning properties, and, even when a high-speed printing machine is used, can reduce a problem of soiling and the like during long-term use, and can realize excellent image stability. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is configured such that a photosensitive layer in an electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a polyarylate resin and the toner contains toner mother particles formed in an aqueous medium. In the toner, the volume median diameter (Dv50) is 4.0-7.0 μm and the relationship between the volume median diameter and the percentage number (Dns) of toner particles having a particle diameter of 2.00-3.56 μm satisfies the formula (1): Dns≤0.233 EXP (17.3/Dv50).
