SOLUTION: The rotary connector has projections 16C provided on the upper surface of the lid part 16A of an inner case 16 contained within an outer case 15 in relative by rotatable to the outer case, the projections 16C being fitted into the lower surface of the automotive steering wheel 21. The outer periphery of the rotary connector is thereby reduced to provide the rotary connector which can be made smaller in size and lighter in weight and inexpensive.

Thus a user-friendly multidirectional operating switch that will not make another pushbutton turned on so easily even when the operating shaft is moved carelessly can be provided.

The neighborhood of the inside circumference edge of a flat cable 5 is inserted through the gap section 14 between the inside wall of this guide segment 13 and the periphery of the hollow section 12C of the inside pipe section 12B of the inside case 12, and the flat cable 5 is conducted out of the edge of the opening 13A provided by tilting the tip of the guide segment 13 toward the periphery.

By mounting the retainer 12 on the inner connector 11, the stress of the folding part 5A in the rotation of the inner case 2 is reduced, which prevents the flat cable 5 from being damaged at this part, further as the assembling can be executed in a state that the folding part 5A of the flat cable 5 is retained in the inner connector 11 by the retainer 12, the easily assemblable rotary connector can be provided.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve security by preventing an encoded signal from being copied by turning the preceding step of a transmitting signal to a base band signal or any signal different from a regular modulated frequency. CONSTITUTION:A base band signal 11 is inserted in front of a regular encoded signal 10 of 25 pulses and 24 bits. Concerning this base band signal, the pulse width and pulse interval are made fifferent from that of the regular encoded signal, and the number of pulses is 300 bits. Thus, since a function to decide whether the transmitting signal is the base band signal or the modulated signal is decided as the base band signal during a procedure to store a remote control signal in a RAM among the storage methos for the remote control signal positioned at the head part as the front step of the transmitting signal and provided for a copy equipment and the regular encoded modulated signal is transmitted later, copy at the copy equipment can be prevented. Further, this base band signal is transmitted for 300 bits so that the storage capacity of the copy equipment can overflow and the copy can be made difficult.
