摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the liquid crystal display device from having a wrinkle and a slack when a resin-made film sheet abuts on a light transmission plate or a housing in high temperature or low temperature environment owing to a difference in coefficient of expansion or from having a flaw owing to a mutual rub. SOLUTION: The light emitted from a fluorescent lamp 8 is homogenized by the light transmission plate 1 to illuminate a liquid crystal panel through the resin-made film sheet 5. Here, the sheet space 11 in the housing 3 has a large clearance enough not to allow the peripheral edge part of the resin-made film sheet about in high temperature (about 85 deg.) or low temperature (about -40 deg.) environment and projection parts 3a, 3b, 3c, and 3d or recess 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d are provided on the respective side parts of the resin-made film sheet 5 and the recess 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d or protrusions 3a, 3b, 3c, and 3f are provided nearby the center parts of the respective sides of a sheet mounting part so as to engage in a slidable state in any temperature environment.

摘要： PURPOSE:To realize an image at a low cost and of a high quality by surely increasing the voltage of metal-backed layer with the use of an anode terminal having an anchor hole made in the adhesive portion of the metal-backed layer. CONSTITUTION:An anode terminal 32 is sticked with an insulating adhesive agent to the hole made in the side portion of a front glass container 9 as it always contacts with a metal backed layer 30. There are no restrictions on the shape and length of an anode terminal 32, and an anchor hole 32a is made in the contact portion with the metal backed layer 30, and there are no restrictions on the size, shape and number of the anchor hole. The adhesive strength with the metal backed layer 30 is therefore increased, so that it is possible to surely increase the voltage of the metal backed layer. When the anode terminal 30 is installed with an insulating adhesive agent, a process where a high temperature condition is continuously kept can be decreased by once by passing the anode terminal 32 through a high temperature atmosphere after it is coated with paste-like conductive material, and an image display unit whose mass-productivity is high can be obtained at a low cost.
