摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce misconversion correcting work by applying the same KANJI (Chinese character) conversion processing to a KANJI character having the same KANA (Japanese syllabary) reading in a specific conversion range when an operator executes the KANJI conversion processing based upon correcting operation from a 'KANJI' in a 'KANA'-KANJI mixed sentence within a specific conversion range to another KANJI. CONSTITUTION:Each KANA reading inputted from a keyboard on an I/O device 1 is successively stored in an input buffer 3 by an I/O control device 2. When a KANA-KANJI conversion executing instruction is inputted from the keyboard on the I/O device 1 following the input of the KANA reading, the KANA-KANJI conversion executing instruction is transferred from an I/O control device 2 to a system control device 5 and the device 5 commands a KANA-KANJI conversion control device 6 to execute KANA-KANJI conversion. When the operator executes KANJI conversion processing based upon correcting operation from a KANJI in a KANA-KANJI mixed sentence within the specific conversion range to another KANJI, the same KANJI conversion processing is applied to another KANJI having the same KANA reading in the specific conversion range. Consequently, operator's misconversion correcting work can be reduced.

On the way of inputting the KANJI consisting of the two stroke code, even when there is the KANJI storing only the high-order first digit or the low-order first digit of the two stroke code in a KANJI string, the relevant KANJI group is displayed as the selection candidate by inputting only the KANA of the high-order first digit of the two stroke code or the KANA of the low-order second digit and the desired KANJI can be selected therefrom. Thereby, the interruption in the input of the KANJI is not required to improve the manipulation and the input performance.

The external memory device is generally provided with storage capacity capable of storing many document files and these document files are controlled at their input/ output by respectively different document file names.

For example, if a fault occurs in a character pattern memory 105, the signal indicating the defective state is transmitted to a printer part 110 to perform a defective print. A turning-on signal is transmitted simultaneously with setting of the FF108, and a fault occurrence position 30A and the following part of the page is printed all over as shown in the page 302. The image code of a pattern which is stored in the buffer 102 and indicates a fault separator 303 is processed to print out the fault separator 303.

CONSTITUTION:This describes the conversion of Chinese words. A pronunciation character string is read in and when cooccurrence information is found in a storage table by consulting with a dictionary, a cooccurrence analysis is taken; and the corresponding KANJI and its part of speech, and cooccurrence KANJI and its part of cooccurrence speech are stored in a KANJI string generation table. Then a single analytic process for detecting whether or not there is one kind of part of speech of KANJI having no homonym and a homonym is performed and the corresponding KANJI and its part of speech are stored in the KANJI string generation table. When the part of speech of the KANJI with the highest frequency of use is a part of speech specified to be decided tentatively for frequency utilization, i.e., virtual part of speech as to a pronunciation which is not determined, the KANJI with the highest use frequency is tentatively determined, but when not, nearby utilized KANJI is tentatively determined; and the KANJI and its part of speech are stored in the KANJI generation table. The tentatively determined KANJI is displayed in a different color to prevent misselection.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the operability and performance of a homonym selecting job by using the independent words in a single head or rear paragraph of a converted character string as the homonym selecting subjects, right after a Japanese rendering character string supplied from a character input part is converted into a character string including KANJI (Chinese characters), and displaying those homonyms in a list for selection. CONSTITUTION:The titled system is provided with a keyboard part, a control part 2 which performs overall control of this device, a character display part 3 and a dictionary memory part 4. The part-of-speech information and the KANJI codes of the homonyms corresponding to the Japanese rendering characters of independent words are stored in pairs into the part 4 and can be selected. Then the independent words in a single head or rear paragraph in a converted character string are defined as the homonym selecting subjects right after the Japanese rendering character string supplied from the part 1 is converted into a character string including KANJI. These homonyms are displayed in a list for selection. Thus reselection is facilitated in a wrong selection mode of homonyms and the operability and performance are improved with a homonym selecting job.
