摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the filter safely and easily to be treated by a method wherein a spent band filter is removed by remote control in a filtration apparatus using a band filter. CONSTITUTION:The spent band filter 8 is wound up by driving an electric motor 29. After winding up, the filter 8 drops into a container 37 provided below a winding drum 20 and is housed. The projections 23, 24 of a disk 22 fixed to the driving shaft of a motor 29 are inserted into the holes 25, 26 of the winding drum so the the winding drum 20 winds up the band filter by the rotation of the disk 22. The projections 23, 24 are detached from the holes 25, 26 in such a manner that another side of the winding drum is attracted by a magnetized arm 30 and an electrically- driven cylinder 33 connected to the arm 30 is moved right and left.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of the residue of radioactive sample water by a simple means, by a method wherein a plurality of systems of fixed-amount piping units are provided, and corresponding to the radioactive concentration, a fixed amount of radioactive sample water is transported to a piping system unit. CONSTITUTION:After sample water is taken into intake tank 2 by opening valve 1, its approximate concentration is measured by a radioactivity monitor provided on the outer side of the tank. Corresponding to the concentration, the sample water is sent to one of fixed-amount tanks 7, 11, 15, which constitute fixed-amount piping unit, through sample water transport pipe 16. When the concentration measured by the monitor is high, the sample water is sent to tank 7 by opening valve 5 on the side of arrow 30 and valve 4 on the side of arrow 31. When the sample water overflows, its supply to tank 7 is stopped by closing valve 4 by means of flow switch 6. By this, it is possible to greatly reduce the effect due to the residue of the radioactive sample water.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simply detect the outflow of a liquid by a method wherein a liquid level detector for an overflowing liquid in a storage container and a liquid-discharging pipe which has an orifice function provided on the liquid outflow side of the storage container are utilized. CONSTITUTION:A sample liquid is led to flow in through a guide pipe 6 and part of the liquid is discharged through an orifice, then the rest of the liquid flows in a storage container, but if the resistance of flow passage on the container side 8 is made smaller than that of the orifice 11, most part of the sample liquid flowed through the pipe 6 flows into the container 8. When a suitable amount of the liquid has flowed into the container, a floating type switch 9 operates and renders a signal from a signal line S. Since the sample liquid led to a fixed quantity tank 1 flows into it from a valve 3, the sample liquid does not flow into the container 8 if the valve 3 of the tank is operated to close by the signal from the signal line S. Therefore, the liquid in the container 8 is discharged through the orifice 11 and simultaneously the switch 9 is automatically reset. By this constitution, the existence or non-existence of the sample liquid can be detected, and the amount of overflowing liquid from the fixed quantity tank can be set without difficulty.

The sample water processor 5 is moved by a moving device 8 to a sample exhange device 9, where the membrane filters or ion exhange resin columns are subsequently selected and are sent into a radioactivity measruing unit 10, whereby specified measurement is accomplished.
