    • PURPOSE:To prevent a fault of using an erroneous bankbook for printing, by reading bankbook identification data of the bankbook at the time of transaction input, sending the data to a host station at the end of transaction input and comparing it with the identification data sent from the host station before the start of printing of each bankbook. CONSTITUTION:The operator reads the bankbook identification data recorded on magnetic stripes of each bankbook by a manual stripe reader 7 and transfers it to the host device 3 via a CPU 7. When the print data is sent to plural bankbooks from the host station 3, or pages of the bankbook is replaced, first, the bankbook identification data is sent to a CPU 1 of the terminal equipment from the host station 3. The bankbook identification data is read from the magnetic stripes of the bankbook set to a print mechanism 6 and compared with the bankbook identification data from the host station 3 stored in the memory 2. Only when both o them are coincident, the data is printed on the bankbook inserted to the mechanism 6 and a fault using an erroneous bankbook for printing is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To realize correction of characters in a register area by securing a holding area to store a fixed item area position on a display screen in order to shift a cursor to the register area and to reset the cursor to the fixed item area. CONSTITUTION:It is decided whether a register area 10 of a display screen 9 is set or not under a non-input state in case the valid conditions are satisfied after push of a character key6 5 set on a control panel 3. When the non-input state of the area 10 is confirmed, the position of a fixed item area 11 where a cursor 14 on the screen 9 is displayed is stored in a cursor position holding area 15. Then a display code corresponding to the key 5 is displayed on the area 10 and the cursor 14 is shifted to the next character display position of the area 10 for display. Then the display data on the area 10 is transferred to the position of the area 11 stored in the area 15 on the screen 9 for display if the valid conditions are satisfied with push of a fixing key 6. Then the area 10 is cleared and the cursor 14 is shifted and reset onto the screen 9 based on the position to be stored in the area 15.
