    • PURPOSE:To minimize the deformation of a solenoid coil and maintain the uniformity of a magnetic field by providing elastic spacers between a cylindrical coil bobbin and an inside cylinder of a liquid helium container. CONSTITUTION:A liquid helium container 25, composed of sufficiently thick rigid substance, holds a coil bobbin 6 of a solenoid coil proper 7. Spring shape spacers 8, 9 are inserted between the coil bobbin 6 and an inside cylinder 2. These spacers 8, 9 are composed of corrugated sheets of fiber reinforced plastic, thin aluminum alloy or the like and are inserted so as to be corrugated along the circumference direction. With this constitution, difference of thermal contraction between the coil bobbin 6 and the inside cylinder 2 of the liquid helium container can be absorbed by the spring action of the spacers 8, 9. Therefore, the deformation of the solenoid coil can be minimized and the uniformity of a magnetic field can be maintained.

    • PURPOSE:To retain the uniformity of magnetic field by a method wherein glass fiber yarn and resin are used for a binding layer formed outside a main body of the coil and the number of glass yarns of the axial direction is made to be more than that of the circumferential direction so that the slackness between said binding layer and the main body of the coil at cooling is restrained. CONSTITUTION:Superconductive wire 2 is wound round a coil bobbin 1 to form the predetermined layer and to form the superconductive solenoid coil, outside of which a binding layer is wound. This binding layer composed of glass cloth tape 4 which has absorbed resin is overlapped and wound in the circumferential direction. In this tape 4, density of the weft 6 is higher than that of the warp 5 so as to restrain the slackness between the main body of the coil and the binding layer at cooling, thereby preventing the disorder of magnetic field of the superconductive coil. Also, an anisotropic glass cloth 7 and a glass cloth tape 8 are used for the binding layer. The cloth 7 and the tape 8 have absorbed the resin respectively and are overlapped also respectively. Then those are wound around the coil to restrain the slackness between the binding layer and the main body of the coil.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce eddy current loss of a stator for an underwater motor by forming the part faced with the rotor of a case for containing the stator of steel fiber in an axial direction and of plastic reinforced with fiber having a resistivity larger than that of a steel in a circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:A stator having a stator winding 4 and a stator core 5 is watertightly sealed with molding resin 6 in a case 1. The surface except the surface 3 opposed to a rotor of a case 1 is formed of steel by welding and bending. The surface 3 of the case 1 is formed axially of steel fiber mainly and circumferentially of plastic reinforced with fiber (carbon fiber or the like) having a resistivity larger than the steel mainly, and the bended part A of the case 1 to the steel part is bonded with an adhesive. In this manner, the axial thermal expansion coefficient is equal to that of the steel part to reduce the stress of the bonded part, and eddy current can be simultaneously reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the lifetime of a stator by molding with resin a coil end, and winding a water shielding tape and a resin-immersed high strength fiber cloth tape, thereby increasing the water resistance of the stator. CONSTITUTION:The coil end 3 of a stator is molded with resin 4 in a compact manner, and a water shielding tape 5 is wound in a toroidal shape on the entire peripheral surface of the molded stator 1. Then, a resin-immersed high strength fiber clock tape 10 is wound in a toroidal shape on the outer periphery of the wound layer of the tape 5, the wound stator 1 is then inserted into a mandrel which is slightly larger than the outer diameter of a rotor, the resin is cured, and the mandrel is pulled out after the curing. Then, the temperature rise of the stator can be suppressed, the water resistance can be improved, and the lifetime of the stator can be increased.
