    • PURPOSE:To compensate the error of head position due to abnormal vibration, by providing a sensor which detects the abnormal vibration such as to accelerate head access on a part of a housing, and processing a detecting signal, then inputting it to a driving amplifier. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration sensor 21 which detects the generation of the abnormal vibration in a direction of access is provided on a part of the housing which houses a magnetic disk 1 and a magnetic head 5, etc. When vibration due to earthquake or from the outside is received while the magnetic disk device is operated, the acceleration sensor 21 detects it, and a detected signal is changed to a servo compensating signal at a gain setting apparatus 22, and is supplied to an adder 23. At the adder 23, an ordinary head aberration compensating signal from a servo compensation circuit 11 in a head positioning control system and the signal from the gain setting apparatus 22 are added, and a driving motor 8 is driven by an added signal via a driving amplifier 12. Thus, the error of the head positioning due to external vibration can be compensated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the microdisplacement of tracking correction possible by applying voltage signals to first to fourth electrode elements so as to elongate and contract first to fourth piezoelectric elements in the in-phase or anti-phases. SOLUTION: The voltage signals are applied on the respective piezoelectric elements in such a manner that the piezoelectric elements 36, 40 elongate and contract in the in-phase, the piezoelectric elements 38, 42 elongate and contract in the in-phase as well and the elements 36, 38 elongate and contract in the anti-phases at the time of microdisplacing a head 22 in the diametral direction of a magnetic disk during tracking correction. For example, a load beam 18 is deflected and the head 22 is microdisplaced in the diametral direction of a solid line arrow 78 when the elements 36, 40 are elongated and the elements 38, 42 are contracted by such voltage signals. On the other hand, the head 22 is microdisplaced in the diametral direction of a broken arrow 80 when the voltage signals are so applied that the element 36, 40 contract and the elements 38, 42 elongate. At this time, the reproducibility of the elongation and contraction rates per the unit impressed voltage of the respective elements is good and, therefore, the microdisplacement of the head 22 with the high accuracy is made possible. The microdisplacement of the head 22 in the vertical direction of a solid line arrow 82 is similarly made possible and the accident of the head is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the highly reliable magnetic recording and reproducing device by stepwisely turning a magnetic storage medium with a driving means and allowing it to act with its turning center maintained. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic storage medium 6 is mounted to be turnable around the turning center RA on a substrate 4 consisting of insulating materials of silicon and ceramics, etc. An X-axial line 8 passing through the turning center RA and a Y-axial line 10 orthogonal to this X-axial line are provided, and the base part side of a head supporting arm 12 is fixed to the substrate 4 by a fixing part 14. The head supporting arm 12 is extended parallel to the Y-axial line 10, and its tip is positioned on the X-axial line 8. The tip of the head supporting arm 12 is fitted with a magnetic head 16 for recording and reproducing data on the magnetic storage medium 6, and this head is brought into slide contact with the magnetic storage medium 6 by an extremely low load. Consequently, the magnetic recording and reproducing device suitable for miniaturization with light weight and feasible of large capacity and moreover with high reliability can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To rotationaly move a magnetic memory disk by microsteps while utilizing the electrostatic force generated by fewer electrodes with the magnetic memory MR head which can make high-density recording with a microminiature size, thereby forming the recording tracks of a diametral direction at a high density in its circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:A means for turning the magnetic memory disk 12 supported to a stationary shaft 11a on a sheet-like substrate 11 is constituted by fixing plural comb-shaped A electrodes 22, radially from this stationary shaft 11a, via an insulating film 21 on this sheet-like substrate 11 facing the rear surface of the magnetic memory disk 12 and supporting flexible plural comb-shaped B electrodes 23, in the state of isolating these electrodes from the stationary shaft 11 a, so as to mesh these electrodes with the respective plural comb-shaped A electrodes 22 without contact. The magnetic memory disk 12 is turned stepwise by the microsteps of repeating the operations to electrostatically attracting the B electrodes 23 electrostatically attracted, by deflection of the front ends, to the, rear surface of the magnetic memory disk 12 further toward the A electrode 22 side, then parting the front ends from the rear surface of the magnetic memory disk 12 and returning the B electrodes 23 to their home positions.
