    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross-linked insulated wire which can reuse a cross-linked polyolefin (system) waste material as an insulating coating material of an insulated wire and can satisfy electric characteristics and mechanical characteristics even though a recycled material of the waste material is used at a higher rate than a conventional material. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method for a cross-linked insulated wire having a coating layer on a conductor, a gel fraction of the recycled material is 10% or below by recycling the cross-linked polyolefin (-based) waste material, a resin composition is obtained by mixing the recycled material, a polyolefin (-based) resin as a non-recycled material, and an organic peroxide so as to make the recycled material set at more than 50 mass% to 75 mass% against the total amount of the recycled material and the non-recycled material, an insulating coating layer is formed by the resin composition, and then, the resin composition for forming the insulating coating layer is cross-linked by heating treatment. Since a size of a letter height of the embossed letter becomes large, embossed letters can be easily identified and a concavo-convex pattern of the embossed letter becomes clear and the embossed letters can be clearly identified.
