摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a walking-type mower by which the foreward and backward direction change of a machine body is easily executed even in a ridge, etc., with narrow road width and the rotary speed of a cutting blade is controlled by fixing a handle rod by means of an angle being almost perpendicular on a machine frame with the proper angle towards a diagonally rear and upper part. SOLUTION: The cutting blade is arranged at the front side of the machine frame, a running wheel 10 is arranged at a rear side, the handle rod 34 is journalled by a horizontal shaft provided on the machine frame and the handle rod 34 is fixed by the angle being almost perpendicular on the machine frame with the proper angle towards the diagonally rear and upper part. A loop-shaped handle 36 is properly and fixing-possibly provided between an orthogonal state as against the handle rod 34 and an extending state in the tip of the handle rod 34 and also it is favorable that an accelerator lever 37 bending along the handle 36 is provided.

The inclination of the handle lever 34 in the vertical direction is adjustable and fixable by the engagement and disengagement of the seizing recessed parts 48 with and from a pin 50 of the fixing tool 35 attached to the handle base 32.
