    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the variation curve of the electrical resistance vary with respect to the pressing force approximately linear by providing a low-resistance region in the center and high-resistance regions on both sides, and by making a conductive contact having a curved surface into contact with the low- resistance region and the high-resistance region, in such a way that the contact region varies. SOLUTION: A resistor pattern 5 has high-resistance areas 5a with a pair of conductor patterns 4a and 4b being connected to their respective ends and a low-resistance region 5b in the center which is connected to the high-resistance regions 5a and is formed of resistors exhibiting a resistivity lower than resistors in the high-resistance regions 5a. When the upper part of a support member 6a opposed to the resistor pattern 5 is pressed, a curved surface 7a of a conductive contact 7 comes into contact with the center part of the resistor pattern 5. When the support part continues is kept depressed, the curved surface 7a is deformed, the contact region from the low-resistance region 5b of the low- resistance pattern 5 up to the high-resistance regions 5a is gradually increased, and the resistance between the pair of conductor patterns 4a and 4b are varied.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variations at the time of manufacture, equalize the resistance variation characteristics and improve the precision by varying the resistance by deforming a conductive contact, in such a way that its contact area with a first resistor pattern change by swinging a support member. SOLUTION: An operation member 17 is swung by depressing its top side in a direction P1 or tilting it in a direction P2 against the elasticity of a momentum providing member 19 and leg parts 15b. Then a support part 15a of a support member 15 is pressed by a pressing part 17c and as a results, for example, when the upper part of the supporting part 15a opposed to a third resistor pattern 6 is pressed, the leg parts 15b are elastically deformed, and the curved surface 16a of a conductive contact 16 comes into contact with the center part of the third resistor pattern 6. Further more, when the support part 15a continues to be depressed, the curved surface 16a is deformed in the direction of resistance variation, its contact area with the third resistor pattern 6 gradually increases, and the resistance at both ends of the third resistor pattern 6 is varied.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an input device possible to enlarge the amount of deflection of a beam part, to enlarge the amount of change of a distortion detection element, and to attain improvement of the operability by installing a substrate member in a state in which the beam part is positioned at a recessed part of an installation member and a gap is given to a lower part of the beam part. SOLUTION: A substrate member K, in which a connection part 5 is mounted on a reception part 12 of an installation member 10, solders a conductive material and an electrode part are soldered, is installed to the installation member 10. Then, when the substrate member K is installed, beam parts 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d are positioned at a recessed part 11 and are in a state in which a gap is given to lower parts of the beam parts 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d. Therefore, an amount of deflection of the beam parts 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d by an operation part 2 becomes large. Also, a distortion detection element is in a state in which is it pulled out to a pullout terminal part 15 through a connection line 17 by connection/adhesion by solder of the conductive material and the electrode part. A flexible substrate performs pulling out to outside of an input device by soldering a conductive line to the pullout terminal part 15.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wet-diaper sensor, which is made of an inexpensive material without production costs and which is also convenient in handling, by constituting the moisture-detecting sensor part using a resistor printed on an absorbent sheet. SOLUTION: The wet-diaper sensor is provided with a tape-like sensor part 1 for detecting moisture of a diaper, transmitter 2, and a connector 3 for connecting the sensor part 1 and the transmitter 2; the sensor part 1 and the connector 3 are made freely attachable/detachable, with the transmitter 2 and the connector 3 connected with a cable 4. The sensor part 1 is such that two resistors 8 are printed in a belt shape with a prescribed space apart as a sensor element on an absorbent narrow sheet 7 composed of nonwoven fabric or the like. In using this wet-diaper sensor by attaching it to a diaper, the sensor part 1 is inserted into the diaper, with its one end taken out of the diaper and connected to the connector 3, and also with the transmitter 2 and the connector 3 fixed in the upper part inside a diaper cover.
