    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential signal transmission cable having excellent mechanical characteristics such as bending/twisting characteristics as well as excellent electric characteristics, and suitable for a signal transmitting cable of a liquid crystal display of a cellular phone.
SOLUTION: Four cores each composed by overlaying an insulating material 32 formed of a fluorine resin on the periphery of an internal conductor 31 are twined with one another; a shield layer 33 is formed thereon by spiral winding in a direction opposite to the twining direction of the cores; and a sheath 34 is further formed on its periphery to set the outside diameter of this cable not longer than 1.0 mm.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the optical transmission body which has excellent bending capacity transmission characteristic even though the diameter of a core is larger than a specific value, by forming the core with the composition of cross-linking polymer and low molecular bodies. SOLUTION: The optical transmission body consists of a core 1, which is made of the organic material that is transparent and has a certain optical refractive index, and a clad 2, which is provided on the outer peripheral of the core 1 and is made of the organic material having a low refractive index. The core 1 is formed from the composition of cross-linking polymer and low molecular bodies. To maintain good optical and the heat resistance characteristics of the clad 2, it is desirable to use polytetrafluoroethylene and tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene double common polymerized bodies. It is also desirable to select the range of an outer diameter ϕof the core 1 to be within 3 to 30 mm. If the core diameter is less than 3 mm, no difference in the bending capacities is obtained between the optical transmission body above and the synthetic resin optical transmission body made by coating the peripheral of a conventional synthetic resin core with the clad of fluorinated resin. If the diameter of the core 1 becomes more than 30 mm, the bending capability is greatly reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a liquid phase plating member invade into a gap between a conduc tor and a terminal so as to accelerate diffusion and decrease the gap, and increase reliability in junction strength, by connecting the terminal, on which a low melting point metal similar to the plated element wire or its stranded wire is plated, to the plated element wire or its stranded wire, which is provided by plating a copper or copper alloy or their compound wire with a metal having a lower melting point than such composite material, by heating the plated element wire or its stranded wire and the terminal under a pressurized condition. SOLUTION: As a plating material, tin, silver or a metal of its lower melting point than these is used, heating due to electric conductive heating or use of a heating metal jig, light beam, or a heat source of a semiconductor laser or connection due to a load of ultrasound as its substitute is preferable. Tin is fused by heating diffusion when bonded to a copper-based material, connection strength is further increased, and corrosion proof of a welding part is further improved by electrochemical action as an anode. A method for electrically conducting and heating under pressurization at a current of 2 to 4 KA after welding a tin-plated stranded wire and a tin-plated metal terminal to the tin-plated copper element wire or its stranded wire is preferable. Water or air not enter the junction part.
