    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge type anchor clamp and an attaching method thereof capable of attaching to an electric wire in a stretched state by a simple structure of a clamp body and capable of attaching within short time, preventing variation of the position of the electric wire and the degree of dangling of the electric wire from its chord.SOLUTION: The clamp includes a cotter member 30 which is between ends of a pair of coupling plates 12 locked toward a supporting object, whose one end is fixed to the coupling plates 12 by inserting a lock bolt 16a and coupling it with a nut 16b, and whose other end is connected to an insulator from the supporting object. One of the pair of the coupling plates 12 extends longer along with the cotter member 30. The clamp further includes a cotter pin 18 for being inserted through the extending longer coupling plate 12-1 and the cotter member 30 and for integrally fixing them to each other with mutual displacement of those suppressed, in the midway toward the connection of the cotter member 30 to the insulator. The clamp further includes a wire tightening link 40 which is attached onto a tip lateral face of a clamp body 10, which is opposite to a direction of the coupling plates 12 locked toward the supporting object, and which is for attaching the clamp body 10 between the supporting body and an electric wire by connecting the link to a wire tightening tool 6 which is for stretching the electric wire toward the supporting object.
