    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alarm reduction of inflation pressure while a vehicle is stopped by giving outside shock to tires on the basis of rotation fluctuation force of an axle, detecting vibration, calculating natural frequency or resonance frequency of vibration, and detecting a condition of tire inflation pressure comparing with its judged value. SOLUTION: In this device, tire inflation pressure is estimated on the basis of a concrete relation between tire inflation pressure and natural frequency estimated from a wheel speed signal, and it is judged whether the tire inflation pressure is a limit value having an effect on vehicle driving or not. A vibration cycle T is measured from a rectangular wave, and the natural frequency fkt of rotation vibration of the twist direction of the tire is calculated (Step 140). A resonance phenomenon is generated on the tire as a vibration input to the tire by brake hydraulic fluctuation and the like, and a resonance frequency is found out. The calculated natural frequency fkt and an inflation pressure reduction judging value fot which is set beforehand are compared with each other. In the case where inflation pressure is in an abnormal condition, an alarm for informing reduction of inflation pressure is outputted to alert a driver (Step 160, 170).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detecting apparatus which enhances the correction accuracy of a detection error due to the nonstandard element of a pulse signal generated by the rotation of a rotating body to be measured and whose costs are reduced. SOLUTION: An electronic control device 14 is provided with an integration means, with a storage means and with a mean computing means. Pulse signal cycles are integrated sequentially at every pulse signal train which is composed of a plurality of pulse signals. When all the pulse signal cycles in the pulse signal train are integrated, an integrated value is written into the storage means, and the storage means always stores the latest integrated value, in one rotation portion, of a rotating object 12 to be measured. The mean computing means computes the mean value of the pulse signal cycles on the basis of the total value of the integrated value. By this constitution, the mean value of the pulse signal cycles in one rotation portion is obtained as a learning reference value in a correction operation without storing all the pulse signal cycles in one rotation portion. Thereby, it is possible to obtain a detecting apparatus which enhances the correction accuracy of a detection error and whose costs are reduced.
