摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a shift shock owing to re-grasping of a brake during shift down of an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:A pressure regulating means 3 by which a servo oil pressure for engaging the friction engaging means of brakes B-2 and B-3, having a relation wherein the one thereof is released and the other thereof is engaged during a shift, with each other is controlled in a stepped manner through detection of input rotation and input torque is provided. The pressure regulating means 3 is controlled by an electronic control device 7 and performs low pressure waiting in which a servo pressure on the engagement side is maintained at a constant low pressure and regulation of a pressure through which slow and gradual boosting is effected at a given increase factor, and a rapid rotation change and tie up of a brake are prevented from occurring.

摘要： PURPOSE:To achieve a favorable reverse gear ratio and downsizing through rationalization of torque sharing in a five-speed automatic transmission in which a simple-connection three-planetary main transmission is combined with an overdrive transmission. CONSTITUTION:A five-speed automatic transmission is provided with three pairs of planetary gears P1 to P3 and constituted by a main transmission 1 for achieving four forward speeds and one backward speed and a front-mount overdrive transmission 2. The front-mount overdrive transmission 2 can release a direct connection stage by disengaging a clutch C-0 at backward driving, and a clutch C-2 for achieving a direct connection stage of the main transmission 1 and a brake B-5 for achieving a low speed stage are engage with each other at backward driving. The forward four stages in a proper speed changing step is achieved by direct connection of the front-mount overdrive transmission 2 and speed change of the main transmission 1, and backward driving with favorable gear ratio with an overdrive stage is achieved by speed change with the main transmission 1 and the front-mount overdrive transmission 2.

The same applies to the third gear speed. At the fifth gear speed, the intermediate shafts 610, 620 are rotated so as to achieve forceful lubrication utilizing centrifugal oil pressure.

Lubrication from a radial oil hole to the members disposed at the peripheral part is forced because of the centrifugal oil pressure generated by the constant rotation of the intermediate shaft 610.
