摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire for MIG (metal inert gas) welding of a martensitic stainless steel tube by which a weld zone having an excellent bead shape in all positioned welding and high toughness can be obtained, and to provide a method of welding a martensitic stainless steel tube. SOLUTION: The wire for welding has a composition containing ≤0.02% C+N, ≤1.0% Si, 0.2 to 3.0% Mn, 11 to 15% Cr, 2 to 10% Ni, 0.01 to 0.30% rare earth metals and ≤0.01% O, or further containing one or two kinds of metals selected from ≤2% Cu and ≤4% Mo, and/or one or two kinds of metals selected from Co and W by ≤4% in total, and/or proper amounts of one or more kinds of metals selected from Nb, Zr, Ta and B, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and is obtained by applying plating to the surface. The mass flow controller 40 detects the mass flow rate in the case the temp. and pressure of the feeding gas are changed even without executing their correction and controls the same in such a manner that the detected value is made the fixed one, so that, even in the case the temp. of the outside air is changed, the gas conditions are retained to the set value, and desired thermal spraying conditions can always be obtained. When automatically optimum conditions can be obtd. in this way, even in automatic thermal spraying by a robot, stable and homogeneous sprayed coating can be obtd.

The molten material is solidified in such state that the wear resistant grains 3 deposit. In this way, the wear resistant composite material layer is formed with the portion where the wear resistant grains 1 deposit.
