SOLUTION: This arrangement position determining method for loads or articles arranged in a container or warehouse is characterized by that proper arrangement positions of the loads or articles are determined based on feature quantities of the size, etc., by using a data structure having a tree list structure. Further, this method is a boxing procedure determining method characterized by that the boxing order and arrangement positions of the loads or articles are determined by a software computing method according to the feature information of the size, etc. A boxing device for the loads or articles arranged in the container or warehouse which consists of a processing means for determining the boxing procedures for the loads or articles by using the boxing procedure determining method and a boxing means which is driven according to commands of the processing means. The software computing method is, e.g. genetic algorithm or simulated annealing.
