    • PURPOSE:To obtain a very stable reproduced signal by controlling the reproduced signal so that the reproduced signal obtained by reproducing a recorded signal is reproduced in a prescribed reference level and completely excluding the level deviation of the reproduced signal from a reference signal level. CONSTITUTION:The signal reproduced by magnetic heads 1A and 1B is supplied to a first deemphasis circuit 22 through a frequency demodulation means 21, and a reproduced TCI signal 22a obtained by attenuation of high-band frequency components is supplied to an ID detection means 25 and a control means 37 through an A/D converter 23. The signal 22a is clamped by the level of 501RE before A/D conversion if necessary. The control means 37 performs digital AGC control of the digitized signal 22a and outputs the signal 22a, whose peak level is a digital value corresponding to 1001RE, to a first TCI inverse conversion means 24. A digital value as the reference level is preset in a reference level circuit constituting the control means 37. As the result, the signal 22a can be reproduced in the P-P level of digital values corresponding to 0 to 1001RE in the overall reproducing period.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a MUSE decoder where an intermediate processing for improving picture quality in the middle of a still area processing and a moving area processing is provided, in the decoder of a multiplex subsample transmission signal. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of an inter-frame interpolation circuit 2 is supplied to one of the input terminals of a mixer 9. The output signal of an inter-field interpolation circuit 3 is supplied to the other input terminal of the mixer 9 and to one of the input terminals of a mixer 10. An inter-field interpolation is performed for the output signal of the mixer 9 in an inter-field interpolation circuit 8 and is supplied to the other input terminal of the mixer 10. The motion signals 1 and 2 from a motion detection circuit 4 control the mixers 9 and 10, respectively. In the time frequency area which is the middle of a still area processing and a moving area processing, the mixer 9 selects an inter- frame interpolation signal, and an inter-field interpolation signal is selected in the mixer 10.

CONSTITUTION:In a VTR where two programs can be simultaneously recorded and reproduced, and a signal is converted into a color difference line sequential time base compression multiplexing system and it is recorded, an input signal 1a is distributed in a switching circuit 3 when the only signal 1a is recorded, the signal is converted into two kinds of color difference line sequential signals interpolating with each other in color difference sequential circuits 9a and 9b, the signals are recorded in two recording areas, respectively, and the reproduced color difference sequential signals of the reproduced signals from the two recording areas are alternately used with each other and continuous high definition reproduced color difference signals are obtained by switching of the inputs of the two kinds of color difference line sequential signals reproduced simultaneously by the control signals which are in an inversion relation by SW 33 and SW 34 every horizontal scanning line period at the time of a reproduction.

    • PURPOSE:To define the recording signal as a signal similar to an NTSC signal by specifying the sampling frequency to apply the A/D conversion to the luminance signal and also the sampling frequency to apply the A/D conversion to the color difference signal respectively. CONSTITUTION:The luminance signal Y of a high definition base band signal is supplied to an A/D converter 1 to undergo the A/D conversion with sampling frequency Sf of 24.75MHz. Meanwhile the color difference signals PB and PR are supplied to the A/D converters 2 and 3 to undergo the A/D conversion with the Sf of 7.425MHz respectively. The frequency of 24.75MHz is equal to 1/3 frequency of 74.25MHz of the Sf of the signal Y of a high definition studio standard. Furthermore the frequency of 7.425MHz is equal to 1/5 frequency of the Sf of 37.125MHz of the standard signals PB and PR. The data on the signal Y are temporarily stored in a Y frame memory 4 which stores a single frame equal to two fields. Meanwhile the data on both signals PB and PR are converted into the data on the line sequential color difference signal PB/PR after both signals are thinned down to half for each line by a vertical filter/line sequentializing circuit 5.
