    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary supporting method of a rotary kiln core tube for transmitting a rotational power stably to the core tube from the outside without causing any slip at the core tube securing part while ensuring the centering accuracy thereof even when the dimensional accuracy of the core tube is not ensured sufficiently. SOLUTION: In a method for producing high purity powder using a rotary kiln having a tubular core tube, a support 10 split into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction of the core tube while having adjustable fixed lengths in the radial and circumferential directions is provided and material powder is heated in the rotary kiln having a structure for transmitting a rotational power to the core tube from the outside. The core tube is supported by the support 10 split into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction and fixed to a supporting part 2 through a supporting rod 12 and an adjusting mechanism 9. The supporting rod 12 has a fixed length adjustable in the radial direction at a part to be fixed to the supporting part 2, i.e., the adjusting mechanism 9. Consequently, the fixed length of the support 10 can be adjusted in the radial direction of the core tube.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a kiln for ceramics in which raw ceramic material can be forwarded at a rate alterable as desired, the condition set for each heating zone can be maintained, and moreover the temporary firing and the main firing of raw ceramic material can be carried out in a continuous process. CONSTITUTION:A kiln for ceramics 1 has a furnace body 3 having heating zones 2 into which the furnace is longitudinally divided, a plurality of tubular furnace cores 4 each of which is longer than the respective heating zone 2 and differs in inner diameter (d) from the others, and endless drives 5 in a plurality of sets which support the tubular furnace cores 4, each set holding one tubular furnace core at its two ends with its circumferential side on themselves in a manner of suspension and designed to revolve independent of the other sets. The tubular furnace cores 4 are so arranged that from the loading end 3a of the furnace body 3 they become enlarged in inner diameter (d) toward the discharging end 3b, that is, a succession of an arrangement that the end 4b on the discharging side of a tubular furnace core 4 having a smaller inner diameter (d) is inserted in the end 4a on the loading side of a tubular furnace core 4 having a larger inner diameter (d). Furthermore, a gas-discharging pipe 12 is provided between each two heating zones 2 where the differing inner diameters (d) between two adjoining tubular furnace cores 4 form a gap 10.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain proper lubricating timing by allowing a detector fixed to a kiln main body to come into contact with a swing arm and swinging the swing arm and hence opening a shot valve by way of a valve drive member by means of a cam and spraying a lubricating grease from a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:This lubricating device is designed to feed lubricant a part of a slipper of a rotary kiln for cement baking service, that is, a spot formed between a slide block 2 installed to the outer periphery of a shell 1 of a kiln main body and a tire 3 whose inner peripheral surface faces the block 2 by a nozzle 15. In this case, a rod-shaped detector 11 is welded with the slide block 2 at the tip of a reinforcing rib 5. When the detector 11 comes into contact with a swing arm 12 by the rotation of the kiln main body and forced the swing arm 12 to rotate a cam 39 one time at an angle of theta, a roller of a valve drive member 14 runs on a recessed part, thereby swinging the drive arm and opening a hot valve 13. This constitution makes it possible to spray lubricant from the nozzle 15 and lubricate the slipper.
