    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable execution of a simple and safe exterior work of a building at a low cost without installing scaffolding, in a simple knockdown gondola suspension type work apparatus. SOLUTION: An arm 18 is supported by a support frame 22 at an intermediate section. The support frame 22 can be moved along a coping 28 of a concrete building by a roller 26. A gondola 14 is suspended from one end of the arm 18 with a suspension cable 16. A horizontal movement frame 38 is installed at the other end of the arm 18 and is provided with a water tank 36 as a weight. The horizontal movement frame 38, having the water tank 36, is located at a position away from the support frame 22 acting as a fulcrum by a distance y which is larger than distance x to the suspension point of the gondola. The weight of the water tank and the ratio of x/y are set, in such a manner as to make the moment of pushing the weight toward the top face of the building at least 2.5 times larger than the moment in the direction opposite to the former.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and safely set a scaffold to be provided on a support pile. SOLUTION: Two vertically arranged guide rollers 5 are juxtaposed at an arrangement space equal to the opposite space of the flanges 50f of the H-steel 50 of the support pile and fixed to the respective inner opposed surfaces of a front part 1 and a back part 6, a receiving base 10 is assembled in the form of engaging the guide rollers 5 with the flanges 50f, and a working floor 20 is fixed to the upper surface thereof. This scaffold 100 is smoothly movable along rails by the drive of a suspending rope by use of the end parts of the flanges 50f of the H-steel 50 as the rails and the guide rollers 5 as wheels. Accordingly, even if the setting height of a stress member is changed in one support pile 50, this scaffold 100 alone is quickly conformable to this by its movement. After the movement, the engagement of the guide rollers 5 with the flange 50f end parts of the H-steel 50 achieves the horizontal fixing effect of the scaffold 100 as it is. This scaffold also plays the role of a carrying means for materials.
