摘要： PURPOSE:To make continuous coil rewinding attainable without stopping a line, by making a rotation motion possible into bot normal and reverse directions, in case of a device which sets up plural oieces of winding drums on the same circumference inside a rotor in a way of making each rotatable as well as revolva- ble. CONSTITUTION:In a double-drum rewinding machine, since a spot, where a coil is inserted into a rewinder drum, is of only one in number, it is required to insert a secceeding coil 1' into a rewinder drum B when a preceding coil 1 is rewound out of a rewinder drum A. Therefore, the rewinding machine 6 is revolved in a normal rotative direction, after shifting the rewinder drum B from right downward to left upward as shown in illustration, the succeeding coil 1' is inserted into the rewinder drum B. Next, the machine 6 reversely revolves this drum B and again situates the rewinder drum A at the left upper position while the rewinder drum B at the right lower position, respectively, whereby it performs a tip process of the succeeding coil 1' during rewinding the preceding coil 1. That is to say, these coils 1 and 1' are rewound and, after a top end of a strip is corrected by a reformer 2 and an end plate part of an on-off gauge or the like is cut off by double-cut shear 3, passed to a welder 5.
