摘要： PURPOSE:To improve hue and to facilitate the alteration of color arrangement, by dividing a color box and providing furnishers at every divided boxes whiled contacting each furnisher with one engraving roll. CONSTITUTION:Printing sizes 1a, 1b ... having different colors in color boxes 2a, 2b ... are adhered to the peripheries of furnishers 3a, 3b ... with the rotation of the furnishers and transferred to an engraving roll 4. At this time, each printing size is diffused on the engraving roll 4 in a width larger than that of each furnisher but the diffusion thereof is stopped immediately before the adjacent printing size having a different color. That is, the printing sizes are not blended with the adjacent printing sizes on the engraving roll 4 and printed on the cloth 5 to be printed on a pressure roll 6. The blending of colors is prevented by regulating the gaps between the furnishers and the viscosity of each printing size. Therefore, only one engraving roll 4 may be used and the alteration of color arrangement is performed only by replacing the color boxes 2a, 2b ... and, because there is no color overlapping, hue is improved.

However, because depressed parts 22 provided to the surface of the offset roll 2 at the positions opposed to the marks 12 are adjusted so as to be aligned with the positions opposed to the marks 12 having a predetermined order, the marks at said positions receive no transfer of ink and come to blanket parts without receiving printing while the remaining 12 marks 12 are printed and displayed. By this mechanism, it is unnecessary to replace a printing plate and it is economical and beautiful display peculiar to gravure printing can be kept.
