SOLUTION: The destination input method for inputting a destination in a navigator indicates a keyboard 70 for specifying the name of the road and indicates road names specified with the keyboard and a map menu 76 for changing to a map image. By operating the map menu, the image is changed to a map image 78 indicating a map including the road specified with the keyboard and a cursor 80 and the position indicated with the cursor in the map image is determined as the destination address.
