    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device for improving data write speed.
      SOLUTION: The semiconductor device is provided with: a nonvolatile semiconductor memory 11 which has a first memory block BLK 1 for holding data of 2 bits or more and a second memory block BLK 2 for holding data of 1 bit and programs data by page; and a controller 12 for instructing the nonvolatile semiconductor memory 11 to program data. When, in the first memory block BLK 1, the page is assigned to each bit of the data, time required for writing is different by bit, and a final page of the write data corresponds to one which requires the longest time to write, the controller 12 instructs the nonvolatile semiconductor memory 11 to execute a program to any page in the second memory block.
