    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating an aromatization catalyst for aromatizing a lower hydrocarbon capable of improving the stability of its performance.
      SOLUTION: The method for regenerating an aromatization catalyst comprises the process of causing a lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst having been subjected to the aromatization of a lower hydrocarbon to react with hydrogen gas, the process of feeding an inert gas or a reductive gas into an atmosphere comprising hydrogen gas having been subjected to the reaction with the above aromatization catalyst to lower the temperature of the atmosphere, the process of causing the aromatization catalyst present in the atmosphere of a lowered temperature to react with an oxidative gas, and the process of causing the aromatization catalyst having reacted with the oxidative gas to react with a reductive gas. The above process of causing the aromatization catalyst to react with hydrogen gas is carried out in the same temperature range for carrying out the above aromatization process. In the above process of lowering the temperature of the reaction atmosphere, an inert gas is fed thereinto so that the temperature of the aromatization catalyst falls to 400°C to 550°C. The temperature of the atmosphere wherein the aromatization catalyst is caused to react with the above oxidative gas is set in a range of 450°C to 500°C.
