    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compatible titanium oxide sol which is concentrated into a high concentration in comparison with the conventional sol and stabilized at a high concentration, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a polymer using the titanium oxide sol.SOLUTION: A titanium oxide sol, obtained through: a first process for forming a coating containing a hydrolysis product by bringing titanium oxide particles having an average diameter of ≤100 nm into contact with the hydrolysis product of an organic silane compound in slurry of a medium containing at least water; and a second process for adjusting the pH of the slurry into a neutral or weak alkali area, is subjected to a third process in which the solvent of the titanium oxide sol is substituted with a compatible organic solvent. Thereby, the titanium oxide sol having high transparency and maintaining a stable state can be obtained even when it is concentrated so that the concentration of titanium oxide becomes within a range of 25-35 wt.%.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared reflective material having excellent infrared reflective power as well as a chromatic color.
