    • PURPOSE:To secure a cooling air volume to a satisfactory extent and cool a condenser and a compressor to a satisfactory extent even when the resistance of supply air is increased in a duct or a machine room. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator is provided with a duct 14 and a machine chamber 19 on the bottom of a refrigerator main body where a condenser is laid out in the duct 14 while a compressor 20 is laid out in the machine chamber 19 so that the machine chamber 19 may be connected to the duct 14 by way of a communication hole 18. An open air which is sucked up from air inlets 16 and 17 is arranged to pass through the duct 14 and the machine chamber 19 and then to be exhausted from an exhaust port 23 in the rear part of the machine chamber 19. Furthermore, in the machine chamber 19, there are laid out a first fan device 32 and a second fan device 24 respectively on the windward and the lee of the compressor 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a heat radiating characteristic and the durability of corrosion resistance compatibly by contacting or connecting a material that comprises metal with larger ionization tendency than that of the metal that comprises an evaporator pipe arranged in an evaporator pan or an alloy that includes the metal as a component of it to an evaporating pipe as a sacrifice anode. SOLUTION: A copper pipe 2 is arranged inside an evaporator pan 3 that is arranged on a compressor and evaporates flowing-down defrosted water by the heat of the compressor. The evaporator pipes 2 are formed by connecting straight parts of pipes with U bent parts and fixed by hardware to the bottom of the evaporating pan detached from the bottom of it. The evaporator pipes 2 are provided with fins that comprise zinc radiator plates 4 and the heat radiating plates 4 promotes the heat radiation of the evaporator pipes, that is the evaporation of defrosted water. The heat radiating plates 4 work as the sacrifice anode that prevents the corrosion of the evaporator pipes 2 and the heat radiating plates 4 are corroded with oxidation by the defrosted water that includes some acid but the holes by the corrosion of the heat radiating plates 4 cause no problems.

    • PURPOSE:To extend the service life of deodorizing performance and improve deodorizing efficiency by providing a heater which heats a deodorizing material and a plurality of holding claws which hold said covered deodorizing material installed to the opposite side of the heater. CONSTITUTION:A cover 14 is made of a metal plate having a heat resistant and water proof and it is longer transversely so that it may cover over a defrosting heater 13. This construction makes it possible to prevent the defrosted water from splashing over the defrosting heater 13 during the defrosting operation of a cooler 6. A holding member 15 installed to the inside of the cover 14 by spot welding or the like, is made of a material having a high coefficient of thermal conductivity and provided with a plurality of L-shaped claws on both front and rear edges. A regulation piece 17 is cut and raised on both ends of the claw. A metal net 19 is adapted to cover each deodorizing substance 17. Under this state, each claw 16 is bent inwardly so as to hold the metal net 19. A deodorizing member 20, which comprises a deodorizing substance 18 and the metal net 19, can be held and fixed by each claw 16 at several locations, which makes it possible to extend the service life of deodorizing performance and improve deodorizing efficiency.
