    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm type pump capable of easily securing a stroke. SOLUTION: The diaphragm type pump 1 is provided with a volume change member 21 changing a volume of a fluid chamber R; a diaphragm member 22 fixed in an expanded state and separated from the fluid chamber R, having a pair of electrodes 220 and 221 and an expanding/contracting film 222 made of dielectric elastomer, and driving the volume change member 21 to an ongoing direction; a return energizing member 21 for driving the volume change member 21 to a returning direction; and a connection member 23 for connecting the diaphragm member 22 and the volume change member 21. In a low voltage state, driving force with respect to the volume change member 21 is accumulated in the diaphragm member 22 and the return energizing member 21. The diaphragm member 22 is arranged in a state of elastically protruding to the returning direction compared to the expanded state, and a tilt angle θ of the diaphragm member 22 in the low voltage state with respect to the expanded state in a reciprocating direction cross section is set to be 45° or more.       SOLUTION: An inner side rubber layer 1, a resin layer 2, and an outer side rubber layer 3 are formed in this order from an inner side. An outer peripheral face of the inner side rubber layer 1 is formed in a corrugation manner in the peripheral direction in an opening part (an opening part at one end or opening parts at both ends of the hose) for fitting the joint and the valve into the pipe mouth part externally. The whole resin layer 2 is formed in a corrugation manner along an outer peripheral face of the inner side rubber layer 1.
