    • PURPOSE:To enhance circularity accuracy of a boss portion so as to aim at improvement in quality of a sintered part by providing a clearance portion in a part of a tooth portion in a section of defective circularity caused by distortion in such a way that the pressing force of a chuck device isn't applied thereto so as to chuck the sintered part. CONSTITUTION:A clearance portion 8 is formed in a part of a tooth portion in a section of defective circularity caused by distortion in such a way as to produce a gap between the clearance portion 8 and a chuck device 6. Since lowering a tooth height may produce the gap, the mold of a sintered part is previously formed in such a way as to be molded into the shape. The tooth height of the clearance portion 8 at this time is enough if the chuck device 6 isn't allowed to abut thereto at the time of chucking. In this way, a planetary carrier 1 is chucked in such a way that the clearance portion 8 is formed in the section of defective circularity caused by distortion, so as to enhance virtual circularity. Therefore, the elastic deformation of a boss portion 4 at the time of chucking can be reduced, thereby enhancing the circularity after lathe turning.

      CONSTITUTION: The hollow shaft material 10a of which the hollow part 10b is hermetically sealed by a hermetic sealing member 6a is disposed in the lower aperture of the rubber mold 3 and the raw material 5 of the metallic powder for powder metallurgy is packed therein. The material 10a of which the hollow part 10b is hermetically sealed by the member 6a is raised into the lower aperture of the mold 3 and the material 5 is allowed to remain only in the molding cavity C for the green compact molding. The material 5 is then hydrostatically pressurized to form the green compact molding by which said molding is directly molded and fixed to the material 10a.

      CONSTITUTION: The hollow shaft material 1a mounted to the upper and lower members 5, 7 for mounting the shaft material is made freely rotatable and movable by the member 5 connected to a rotational driving mechanism 6 and is made freely vertically movable by a hydraulic cylinder. The projecting part 5a of the member 5 is engaged with the U groove 1b of the central shaft member 1. A molding die 3 is mated and fixed into a block 8 so as to comply with the position of the material 1a to be directly formed and fixed with the green compact molding 2. A raw material of metallic powder for powder metallurgy is packed into a cylindrical cavity 3a and an upper punch 4 is lowered to mold the raw material by compaction by which the green compact molding 2 is directly molded and fixed to the shaft material 1a.

    • PURPOSE: To compact and fix a compacted body directly to arbitrary position of a shaft material, by surrounding the shaft material held horizontally with divided dies, packing metal powder material for powder metallurgy in a cavity demarcated with said dies and lower punch and compacting it.
      CONSTITUTION: The shaft material 1a is attached horizontally to shaft material attaching member (not shown in figure), surrounded with a fixing side molding die 3 made to floating state by a spring 9 and a movable side molding die 4, and the metal powder material 2a for powder metallurgy is packed into a cavity 12 demarcated by said dies and a lower punch 5 arranged thereunder. Next, said material 2a is the cavity 12 is compacted by upper and lower punches 6, 5 arranged fittably into upper and lower parts of said cavity 12, to mold and fix a compacted body directly to the material 1a. Thereafter, the punch 6 and the die 4 are separated to take out shaft member inexpensively and with good productivity with low die height.
