摘要： PURPOSE:To improve operability of maintenance and checkup of a pump by a method wherein a secondary sealing mechanism giving fluid-tightness between a pump shaft and a pump casing is fitted simultaneously with insertion of a motor element into the pump casing. CONSTITUTION:On the inner periphery of the upper end of a motor element 19 disposed in close contact inside a pump casing 2, four support members 28 are fixed so that they are disposed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. Each support member 28 has an axial-direction part being in close contact with the casing 2, an axial-direction part being in proximity to a pump shaft 3 and a radial-direction part interconnecting these parts. The upper end 29 of the part being in proximity to the shaft 3 is so shaped as to engage with a stepped part formed in the lower part of an auxiliary member 5. A secondary sealing mechanism 1 is made to engage with the shaft 3, while the fore end 29 of the support member 28 fixed to the motor element 19 is made to engage with the stepped part of the lower side of the auxiliary member 5. When the motor element 19 is pushed in from this state into the casing 2 until the fore end of a leaf spring 11 is fitted in a fixing groove 10, the secondary sealing mechanism 1 is put in a supported and fixed state.
