    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor capable of reducing noise by suppressing vibration during operation of the reactor, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A reactor 1 comprises an assembly 10 of a coil 2 and a magnetic core 3 including an inside core part where the coil is disposed and an outside core part 32 where the coil is not disposed. The reactor also comprises a fixing member 4 which fixes the assembly to an installation object, in the case where an installation object side of the assembly is defined as an installation side and the opposite side thereof is defined as a counter side when the assembly is installed in the installation object, by pressing a surface of the outside core part at the counter side to the installation side; an elastic member 6 for pressing a surface of the outside core part at the installation side to the counter side; and an outside resin part 7 for integrating the assembly, the fixing member and the elastic member. In the reactor, the surface of the outside core part at the counter side and the fixing member are brought into tight contact.

The magnetic core 3 comprises: a plurality of magnetic core pieces 31m which form at least part of the magnetic core 3; and gap materials 31g which are arranged between the magnetic core pieces 31m. The reactor 1α further comprises adhesive tape 4 which integrally fixes an assembly 100 of the magnetic core pieces 31m and the gap materials 31g. The adhesive tape 4 is provided with openings 40. Because the assembly is fixed into an integrated state with the adhesive tape 4 having openings 40, it is unnecessary to use adhesive to thereby eliminate the complexity in operation caused by the use of adhesive. Furthermore, the assembly 100 can be fixed with its gap length kept constant, thus making it possible to obtain desired inductance.

      SOLUTION: A cassette coil 30 is provided with a coil member 20, and a molding member 31 for molding the coil member. The relative position between the teeth portion 51b and the cassette coil 30 is determined by positioning portions C1-C4 of the molding member 31. A space Sp exists between the molding member 31 of the cassette coil 30 and the teeth portion 51b. A resin is injected into the space Sp to form an embedded resin portion 40. A distance between the coil member 20 and the teeth portion 51b (core) is held within a predetermined range and partial discharge can be prevented.
