摘要： PURPOSE:To permit a container to be accurately sealed even if its contents are viscous by a method wherein the flange of a lid is pressed against the opening edge of the container all around its periphry at a predetermined width while heating the thermoplastic resin layer of the lid flange, the molten thermoplastic resins are thus forced out to the inner and outer peripheral sides and such molten resins are thereafter cooled. CONSTITUTION:A container 20 is provided at its opening edge with a flange 23 projecting slightly outward. The container 20 which has been filled with its contents is covered with a lid 2 by fitting the flange 2b of said lid over the flange 23 of the container 20. Such assembled body is pressed while high-frequency waves are being applied thereto, whereby the thermoplastic resin layers 6 of gas-barrier multilayer films 4 and 8 are heated into a molten state between the upper face 23a of the flange 23 and the lid flange 2b. During this treatment, the molten resin of the thermoplastic resin layers 6 are forced out from the pressed part and flow into a resin escape space 32 formed by a sloping part 31 and onto the inner peripheral surface 23c of the flange 23. The high-frequency heating is thereafter stopped to cool the molten resin.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a vertically long can type container with bottom for which a retort treatment can be done, which has a good gas barrier property, and which is suitable for storage for a long period of time by providing the container with an inner drum, which is composed of a cylindrical shaped drum made of a multi-layer basic material and a bottom part which is made by closing the drum, and a synthetic resin outer drum which is bonded to the outer surface of the inner drum. CONSTITUTION:One side end of the lateral both side ends of a rectangular shaped multi-layer basic material 14 with gas barrier property is bent outward by a width which is required for sealing. The other side end is placed over this side end and heat-sealing is performed to make a cylindrical body. For the cylindrical body 18, the peripheral wall of the bottom part is bent inward and closed to give a bottom part, and an inner drum is formed. A folding line 19 to form this bottom part is shown by a dotted line, and a part 20 to be folded is folded inside of the cylindrical body 18. On the upper surface of the bottom part of a formed inner drum 23, a circular shaped synthetic resin film or sheet 28 is heat-sealed. The inner drum 23 is fitted in the hollow part of an outer drum 29, i.e., an outer drum which has a bottom part, of which upper part is open and which is made of a synthetic resin cylindrical shaped hollow body. Then, the outer surface of the inner drum 23 and the inner surface of the outer drum 29 are heat-bonded.
