      SOLUTION: The heating roller is provided with a core metal in which crossing groove parts and projected parts surrounded by the groove parts are formed on the surface and a heat source is arranged inside, and a release layer which is formed in the groove parts other than the surface of the projected parts. Since regular concavo-convex shape is formed on the surface of the core metal, and a release layer is arranged at the portion other than the convex surface of the concavo-convex shape, abrasion by contact of the release layer with the sliding member is prevented and excellent detachability of the transfer material can be maintained over a long period.
