摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the spectrum of a sample containing an interfering component with high precision by controlling the light output oscillated by a wavelength-variable laser so as to compensate the spectral sensitivity characteristic. SOLUTION: A monochromatic laser beam from an electronically controlled wavelength-variable (ETT) laser 40 passes through a sample S and detected by a photomultiplier 43. The oscillation wavelength and light output of the ETT laser 40 are controlled by a laser control device 150 constituted of an RF power supply 20 and a control computer 26 to compensate the sensitivity characteristic of the photomultiplier 43. A signal processing circuit 160 synchronously processes the signal from the control computer 26 and the detection signal from the photomultiplier 43. The signal processing circuit 160 integrates only the current within the output time of the significant signal from the photomultiplier 43 with a gate-type integrating circuit while the signal from the control computer 26 is used as a trigger. The integrated signal is A/D-converted as a voltage value and accumulated in the memory of a display device 170, and the absorption spectrum of the sample S is displayed.

SOLUTION: In a laser oscillator, a laser resonator is constituted of an output side mirror 112 having specified transparency and a total reflection mirror 110. In the laser resonator, a Ti:Al2 O3 laser crystal 14 as a tunable laser and a photoacoustic optical crystal 100 as a crystal for wavelength selection are arranged in the direction from the output side mirror 112 to the total reflection mirror 110. Thereby, an output light of wide range wavelength band, which is outputted from the laser crystal 14 and made to enter the photoacoustic optical crystal 100, is diffracted in a specified direction and outputted from the photoacoustic optical crystal 100 as diffraction light 106. Only the diffraction light 106 is reflected with the total reflection mirror 110 and reciprocates in the laser resonator.
