    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compatibility between space saving of peripheral space of a condenser, and suppression of air capacity deterioration when dust is adhered to the condenser, becoming problems when installing a refrigerator in limited space.SOLUTION: The refrigerator having a lower machine chamber 15 includes a fan 20 becoming a main driving source of an air blowing circuit, an evaporation pan 19 installed in a downwind side of the fan 20, and a cylindrical spiral fin tube type condenser 18 above the evaporation pan 19, and an air inlet 23 is provided in one of right and left directions of the lower machine chamber 15, and an exhaust port 24 is provided in the other. By this, the air capacity deterioration when dust is adhered to the condenser 18 can be suppressed while preventing influence of a shortcut wherein discharged air is sucked again, and due to improvement of heat radiation capacity of the condenser 18, by reducing a condenser temperature, energy saving can be carried out and evaporation of defrosting water accumulated in the evaporation pan 19 can be efficiently carried out.
