摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for adjusting the width of a continuous casting mold, which apparatus can accurately set a proper taper and can prevent the generation of casting defects by suppressing the taper error of a short side frame due to looseness of joint portions with a universal joint, a worm jack, a speed reducer, and backlash thereof. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for adjusting the width of the continuous casting mold, brackets 9 uprightly arranged on the back surface of the short side frame 2 are connected to the output shafts 10 of the worm jacks 3 by fitting pins 11 therein, and pinion shaft sides of the worm jacks 3 are rotataly connected to universal joints 4, and the other end sides of the universal joints 4 are rotatably connected to driving devices 8, wherein the reduction ratio 1/I of the worm gears of the worm jacks 3 is set to be 1/30 or less, the looseness B p between the short side frame 2 and the connecting portions of the output shafts 10 of the worm jacks is set to be 0.1 mm or more, and the taper error T is set to be 1 mm or less. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for oscillating a mold in a continuous casting facilities with which control corresponding to each movement characteristic of a controlled object can be performed by estimating the state quantity of the control object without detecting the state quantity of the mold. SOLUTION: This apparatus contains: a hydraulic cylinder 27 for displacing a mold 28 in a reciprocating manner; a servo-valve 26 for controlling the supply of hydraulic oil into a hydraulic cylinder; a compensator 24 for giving the servo- valve a servo command value vc; a stroke sensor 29 for detecting the displacement xs of the hydraulic cylinder; and a state observing instrument 25 for giving an estimated state quantity xc by estimating the state quantity showing the states of the mold and the hydraulic cylinder on the basis of the displacement xs of the hydraulic cylinder and the servo command value vc. In this way, a desired oscillation can be given to the mold while eliminating the effect of a characteristic frequency by performing optimum control on the basis of the estimated state quantity xc without detecting the state quantity of the mold. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute recovery work on line only regardless of condition of a building of equipment by placing the lower end part of a gate frame on a roller adjacent in the line direction, protruding a beam of a frame upper end farther outside the end part in the line width direction, driving an elevatable hanging device along the beam and executing recovery and assembling of a roller with a hanging device. SOLUTION: Bases 4a, 4b of a transfer device for repair are placed on rollers 2 of table frames 1 positioning at both ends. The position of a leg frame 4 is set at the position of the roller 2 to be repaired by rotating the roller 2. A roller train, on which the bases 4a, 4b are placed, can be made to be an object for repair because a beam 4c is protruded outside. A hanger 6 is hung to a shaft 2b of the roller 2 by traveling a chain block 5 right above the object roller 2. The roller 2 is hung up from the frame 1 with the chain block 5. The roller 2 is carried out farther outside the end part of the frame 1 by running the chain block 5.
