    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treated metal satisfying processability, heat resistance and adhesion at the time of processing each in a high level; a manufacturing method of the surface treated metal; and a coating liquid for suitably fabricating it.
      SOLUTION: The surface treated metal has, on at least a part of the surface, a coating film mainly composed of an organic polymer compound, an inorganic polymer compound or a composite between an organic polymer compound and an inorganic polymer compound. The surface treated metal is characterized in that, in the above coating film, the other area different from one area in ratios of constituent elements even if the constituent elements are the same, or the other area distinguishable from the one area by the grain boundary and the like even if the constituent elements are the same with the one area is contained. The coating liquid therefor and the manufacturing methods of these are also provided.

SOLUTION: In a metal sheet wherein at least a resin coating film layer using an aminoplast resin as a curing agent is provided on one side or both sides of a metal sheet subjected to chemical conversion treatment, the element concentration distribution in the depth direction of the coating film is measured with respect to a top coating film layer by high frequency discharge type glow discharge emission spectrochemical analysis. When the surface contacting with the air of the top coating film layer is set to a zero point, the distance in the depth direction therefrom is set to T and Nc=[spectral intensity of nitrogen]/ä[spectral intensity of nitrogen]+(spectral intensity of oxygen)+[spectral intensity of carbon]} is defined, the value Nc is 0.45 or above in the depth of ether one of (A) O μm≤T≤0.5 μm and becomes 0.45 or above in the depth of either one of (B) 2.0 μm≤T≤5.0 μm.
