    • PURPOSE:To shorten the transmission delay of packets having a high degree of urgency by dividing a transmitted packet and interrupting it to transmit a packet having a higher priority level when transmission of the packet having a higher priority level is requested. CONSTITUTION:Each packet is provided with an interruption display field INT and points 1-3, where interruption is permitted, in respective division units (b) of an information field. Packets from a transmission line 40 are subjected to flag detection and zero deletion by a processing part 41, and the priority levels of n packets are decided by a processing part 42 to send queues classified by priority. A control part 45 sends a transmission permitting signal to the queue having the highest priority level, and a corresponding packets are sent to a processing part 44, and the number of transmission bits is sent to an interruption processing part 46. If transmission from the queue having a higher priority level is requested while the packet is transmitted, the control part 45 issues an interruption request to the processing part 46. Then, the processing part 44 stops transmission of the packet and makes an already transmitted part independent at a division unit point and adds the number of the interruption permission point to the remainder bits as a header to add them to the beginning of the source queue and transmits them after the end of interrupt.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce number of packets to be sent again for error recovery even when a message is sent by providing a means or the like that generates and send an error correction parity packet from an original information packet including original information generated in a terminal equipment to the terminal equipment (route). SOLUTION: The route has a parity generating section 3 generating and sending a parity packet from an original information packet including original information generated in the route, a header describing section 5 describing an original information packet number to a header area of a packet, a maximum value calculation section 7 sending parity packets of a maximum number of a requested parity number included in a parity request notice received from a leaf, a re-transmission packet decision section 8 deciding a re-transmission packet list. Then the route generates a parity packet from the original information packet and sends it to a reception terminal equipment (leaf), the leaf decodes the original information packet and the end of reception is informed to the route.
