    • PURPOSE:To positively utilize both a constant temperature characteristic and a heat- accumulating characteristic of the earth, by a method wherein an encirclement space encircling a utilization space is formed between a partition wall and a wall surface, and selecting dampers for selecting communication or isolation between at least one ventilating duct among a plurality of the ventilating ducts, whereby the utilization space communicates with an outside, and the encirclement space. CONSTITUTION:In winter, outside air with low temperature flows into an encirclement space 11 from the upper part thereof through ventilating ducts 3 and while the air is flowing through the encirclement space 11, heat exchange between the air and the earth 6 is done through a wall surface 7. In this way, the air absorbs warm heat accumulated in the earth 6 and becomes warm, and flows into a utilization space 10 through the under part of the encirclement space 11. The air polluted in the utilization space 10 is forcibly passed through the inside of a ventilating duct 2 by a ventilating fan 5, and is exhausted on the ground. In summer, selecting dampers 12, 13 are selected, and the encirclement space 11 communicates with the ventilating ducts 3 and the utilization space 10, and at the same time, the ventilating fan 5 is driven in ordinal direction. In this way, the air with high temperature flows into the encirclement space 11 through the ventilating ducts 3, and while the air is flowing through the encirclement space, heat exchange between the air and the earth 6 is done through the wall surface 7, and thus the air absorbs cool heat accumulated in the earth 6 and becomes cool.
