      SOLUTION: The light emitting device is provided with the light emitting diode, a mounting substrate on which the light emitting diode is mounted, a cabinet enclosing the mounting substrate and arranged so as to be opposed to outgoing light from the light emitting diode while having a concave inner surface, and a light outgoing unit which becomes a light outgoing surface upon taking out reflection light reflected by the inner surface to the outside of the cabinet. In this case, the inner surface is provided with a light converting unit consisting of a uniformly dispersed binder with an active substance against the outgoing light while a space, enclosed by the light outgoing unit and the cabinet, is constituted so as to be filled with a filler having insulating property and translucency.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a long life, to uniform luminance and to expand a light flux, by providing a heat conductive plate having one end connected to a heat sink so as to be able to transmit heat and plural LED elements covered by an electrical insulating material layer placed on one side through an insulating material, and a thin sheet diffusion transmission layer disposed apart from the one side. SOLUTION: An LED element 4 generates heat by electrically energizing it and its temperature rises. The heat is transmitted to a heat conductive plate 1 through an electrical insulating material 3, and is dissipated to the atmosphere from the side of heat sink 2 fixed to one end of the heat conductive plate 1. Since the heat resistance of the heat conductive plate 1 is small, the heat coming out of the LED element 4 is efficiently discharged outward, and as a result, the temperature of the LED element 4 is suppressed at a low level. Light emitted from the plural LED element 4 does not form a flat surface light source having uniform luminance as a total, because the LED elements 4 are discontinuously disposed, however its luminance is averaged out by diffusion transmission if it reaches a diffusion transmission layer 6 positioning externally.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To radiate heat of an LED lamp by bringing the LED lamp into contact with the component of a luminaire to cause heat conduction from the contact part to the luminaire, and to facilitate mounting of the LED lamp.
      SOLUTION: This luminaire 400 is equipped with a luminaire body 300, an LED lamp mounting fixture 100, and LED lamps 200. The LED lamp 200 is formed by disposing an LED 203 and a locking piece 208 on a substrate 202 in the shape of a circular flat plate. The LED lamp mounting fixture 100 takes shape of a hat, and has a locking plate 700 on its plane part 102 to lock the lock piece 208 of the LED lamp 200. When the base 205 of the LED lamp 200 is mounted to a connector 330 and the locking piece 208 of the LED lamp 200 is locked to the locking plate 700, the substrate 202 of the LED lamp 200 is brought into contact with the plane part 102 of the mounting fixture 100. Thereby, heat of the LED lamp 200 is radiated by being conducted to the lamp mounting fixture 100 and the luminare body 300.
