    • PURPOSE:To quickly and accurately perform convergence adjustments by displaying information on the completion of correction of each adjusting point. CONSTITUTION:Dot patterns projected on a screen 32 represent adjusting points on which the convergence correction is performed. A television camera 30 detects convergence lag and, by its detecting signal, convergence amounts are automatically written in the memory of a digital convergence section 24. When corrections of an adjusting point are completed, a coincidence detecting signal is added to a pattern generating section 16 through a completion displaying counter 28 from a convergence coincidence detecting section 31, and the completion of the correction of the adjusting point is displayed on the screen 32. Corrections of each adjusting point are performed by repeating this procedure. Since adjusting points on which corrections are completed become clear, convergence adjustment is performed quickly and accurately.

    • PURPOSE:To easily execute a color matching, by adjusting a convergence by use of 2 kinds of adjusting pattern signals whose signal time widths are different each other. CONSTITUTION:A cross hatch picture is projected by a green projection Braun tube 3, a cross hatch picture whose width is wider than that of said cross hatch picture is projected by a red projection Braun tube 2, and these two pictures are picture- matched by use of a convergence adjusting circuit part 19. Subsequently, a blue picture is shifted to the green picture by changing over changeover switches 23, 24, the picture matching is executed, and three colors are synthesized. According to this method, the color matching is realized in a short time, comparing with a method by which it is executed gradually after it has been overcorrected once.

    • PURPOSE:To make adjustment in a short time, independently of skillness of an adjusting person, by detecting a shift of a convergence adjusting pattern pictured on a screen of a color TV receiver through the use of a TV camera storing the amount of directional movement corresponding to an address signal for the adjusting point. CONSTITUTION:A deflection circuit 25 scans electron beam via a deflection yoke 22 in synchronizing with an incoming synchronizing signal. A video circuit 7 pictures dot patterns from a dot generator on a screen 19 at convergence adjustment via a projection type reception tube 20. A part of the adjusting pattern pictured on a screen 29 is extended and detected at an image sensor 26, where an angle position shift amount corresponding to each adjusting point of a TV camera head 27 corresponding to the write-in address from an input section 31 is stored in advance. With the constitution like this, when the address for the adjusting point is designated to an input section 31, the convergence of the designated adjusting point is automatically adjusted with good reproducibility via a digital convergence section 24.
